I know I have mentioned this over & over, but never had a reply.  Last few days (been happening for weeks, but worse lately) Each time i have say 12 mph left to right wind (or any direction just an example) and ding the shot the shot gets taken from the PIN, DEFAULT AIM POSITION and not left to where i had moved the aim marker.  I used to think it could be a flaw as it would happen maybe once or twice every few rounds, or even deviation, but that theory has gone out of the window because it happens nearly every time i hit the ding in last few days.  I even had a par 3 matchplay where it happened every time i hit the ding.  It acts like you've either aimed at the pin, or have pressed late or early on the side of wind and you end up landing the same distance you've aimed left or right the opposite side of the pin. Lately i dont expect an excellent shot if i hit ding but i have to hold my breath HOPING a BAD SHOT doesn't appear.

    Just one of many examples:http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=6b467cb5-333b-4057-8839-a19c010866b8

Please any one from WGT could you explain why this is happening?  have you added It in to combat "AUTODINGERS"?  Or have you programmed it in to make game tougher giving us even more deviated shots?  What ever the reason its pretty unfair on us the players.  You sell all kinds of balls all for over $5, all with the advertisement of a slower meter equates to better shots and making dings easier to hit.  What is the point of spending $5 or $6 on slower meter balls if hitting ding gives you a worse result and a bad shot??  I've missed the ding by this much {........} and landed very close to pin, whilst a ding which i expect a perfect shot might land 8 yards wide.  Shouldn't it be the opposite?  Please, a ding answer would be very much appreciated

Congressional ready go dings seemed normal, until 2 holes, and especially 18:

This is same shot on 2nd attempt with exact same set up as first, same ding:

See the difference?  Now do you see why players get so annoyed with certain shots on this game

Chris , do you really expect them to tell you what they are doing to combat the cheaters ? don't ya think the cheaters would use that information ?

Chris, I can't remember where the thread is, but Bollox explained what you're talking about in good detail.

You're one of the better players Chris. I'm trying to understand where the problem is.

For sure. You know you're not getting any kind of affirmation of anything like this. They never have and probably never will. Why not just run with it? Make it a habit to hit a pixel into the wind on every shot and see what happens.

I am quite leery of dinging shots lately because of shots just like your replay. That doesn't mean I don't try to ding but I envision the ding line as one a lot wider than what you see-maybe 5 pixels wide- and then try to hit the appropriate edge of it. (A mental image of the result you want helps tremendously.) Thinking that way keeps me on the correct side of the ding. Your replay is a great example. Hit a pixel or 2 early and that shot is all over that pin. Try it for a few days, you might be surprised and get a whole lot less aggravated.

On your replay, how far left did you aim related to the left edge of the green? Just curious.

I do try and miss ding opposite to wind at times, but every time you will get a totally different result, example, on 1 hole i might have 10 mph right to left wind, i miss ding by a FRACTION late, but wind wont then effect shot and i end up 6 or 7 yards RIGHT, i could have same wind on next hole and i might miss ding by this much {.............} accidentally and expect ball to land 12+ yards right, but instead i'm under 2 yards to pin??? Don't you think those 2 shots should be the other way round??  This what makes me suspect that no matter what we do, it will either be right or wrong, depending on WGT.

C'mon WGT, put an end to this.  Have your QA or Dev team analyze these shots and give us their opinion.

Jim,   it would help if I understood exactly what you mean by pixel - is that one (yellow) bar to the R-L of the ding point (i.e strike point [yellow line], just touches the 'Ding' Point) or is it more than that?  I am really trying to learn here, because a pixel is one heck of a lot smaller than my example.
