I'm trying out the full Top R11 full set and the Top Taylormade wedges. It's almost silly how easy the game is with these sticks. I'm not even using a Nike ball and I can't stop hitting it next to the hole and making birdies. I'm also trying the L92 Ghost Spider putter but I'm too close to the hole to see much difference from my normal one. These sticks are fun for a while but the shots don't look very realistic to me. I think I could drop my average at least a full stroke by the time the rental expires on Monday.

Yea, a 10% sale would have been a home run.  I rented the level 48 R1 (I now play with the entry G20's).  So far?...meh, not convinced.  I'll likely end up getting the level 83 G20 complete set and ride those until the R11/S or R1...or whatever else they're offering then.

As a master I would say the HL G20s would be cream.  However get to the tips and found the L79 Bladez irons more useful...loads of threads on it ..........

    My review so far:

    - overall, 4.5 dots of precision are way better than 4, even at a cost of forgiveness (i.e. R11/Bladez > G20, L92 Spider > others, Cleveland wedges > ATV)

    - L92 Spider beats Rossa (and I believe Nike and Max too), plus having a 15ft meter increment is good for those who were used to Rossa. Just beware of Spiderlike soft stop, so always need to aim at least 1-2ft further.

    - ATVs are a joke compared to CG16

    - R11 irons are better than Bladez if one can manage the faster meter

The thing about them I find so far....  they do have the edge on my RocketBladez.  But it seems I tend to hit better overall when the meters stay matched.  I tend to either be early or wait too long and am late with my woods and wedges when using the R11 irons.

    Another day of experiment.

sad we all wait for the free rental days to try new things, I did, because WGT puts such ridiculous rental fees on clubs. That would be tolerable if it applied toward a purchase if made but it doesn't .

Be a little cautious with free rental stuff.  Last time we had a free rental weekend I tried the 3 ATV wedges and bought them within a couple of hours of doing so.  I couldn't do anything wrong with them, bearing in mind I had no experience with them either.  Even missed ding shots were within a couple of yards of the hole, they were almost unbelievably good to be honest.

And being honest again, the ones I bought are not as good as the ones I rented for free.  They're good, no doubt about it, but nowhere near as forgiving as the rental ones.  I've often read people mentioning how good the meter is with rental gear, this is not really an issue for me as my meter is almost always good, but I really think either the forgiveness on rented clubs is turned up on a free rental weekend or VEM is turned down when using them.
