Only tested the new rates of return on a couple holes (BOH B9 #10& CC #10), but it seems WGT is listening.

Now if you are 1 ft you will get a small profit.

    BOH wager 100 - HIO - 10800

                              1ft   - 264

                              5ft  - 50

    CC #10 wager 100 - HIO - 10200

                                  1ft   - 228

                                  5ft   - 30

Definitely a good step, as a 1 ft shot is still a great shot and should be rewarded as such.

    Cheers,

    b0gey

Huge money spinner for WGT.  All voodoo IMHO!

Is it, for the first example and 5ft, 50 + your 100, or just plain 50 and net result is 50c loss?

Then the email they sent out is lying, it says, and I quote:
"WGT players are winning WGT Credits every day for shooting a hole-in-one, or landing the ball within 1 or 5 feet, and you could be next!"

You only win if you are 1 ft  or closer

Lol technically they are right as your winning 50 credits for 5ft.They just forgot to mention you need to spend 100 credits in order to do so rofl.

No, sorry, technically you are losing 50 since all transactions belong to the same challenge :)

"Darling, can I go to the pub with the boys, I won $100 on the lottery (whispering) after I bought lottery tickets for $200!"

I was merely pointing out the fact that it is a step in the right direction and that WGT was in fact listening to the suggestions of the players.

Each of us has a choice to play these so no harm no foul if you opt out.

    Cheers,

I did in no way mean to criticise you, I was just curious of the wording of their mail, I thought maybe they had changed more than just the ratio. I do think WGT should clarify the issue though since their message is that you win credits if you are within 5ft

I was being light hearted in my comments Tightrope, but my comment still stands as you are winning credits,it doesn't say that you will still be out of pocket, which is the comment i was trying to make,as regards the 5ft payout. At the end of the day a wins a win regardless if your actually in profit. If you win something then you win if you dont win anything then you have lost.

It's just a clever use of words used by WGT.
