ARE YOU Afraid To Play AS @ 30 Sec TIMER?

  I'm never afraid to play a 30 second game.

  The drawbacks to me are that it takes the social part out of the game, it distracts you from hitting a good shot at times (esp a flop or a putt that has to be looked at several ways).  I'm here for social as much if not more than the playing so I don't care for it n stroke play and alt shot.  In Blitz it works fine for me, rarely is time an issue there.

  I can't play with a 30 second timer...I'll have timed out and forfeited the match by the 5th hole.

  seems to me the only ones wanting a shot timer are the ones whothink they"re Tiger Woods.....the BEST part of AS is the conversation...meetng and making new friends....seem to me the ons squawkng about a timer are the one's who think they are the wgt gods....the ones who sit in forum who if they cant blind u with their brilliance they find someone to make fun of....t make themeves look smarter....and btw...its NOT working

  3 pages so far and I think the consensus of opinion would be to take the 30 sec timer for a game of alt shot and stick it up "old smokey", not because folks can't play with a 30 sec timer, but more a case of they like a little social interaction in alt shot and 30 secs doesn't offer that.

  i rest my case.

  Easy there "gunslingers"............... my post wasn't intended to challenge MP or credit games.My apologizes. I like to play fast, and only play random AS now, and have met some very good players. Yes I know meeting people takes time w/chat!

  If I request 45/30 timer I can never get any interest with a game! 

   Befuddles me when playing w/L,TL, w/60 sec timer that it takes 30-50 sec's every shot!! 

  TL/L/TL, AS players who like to play fast send me an invite!

  ps I just wanted to add that my previous post wasn't meant as a dig at the OP, it just seems to me that there is a general feeling that playing on a 30 second timer some how proves your brilliance. All it proves to me is that you can play quickly :)

  Thx tiff' for your comments. I should have expounded why a 30 sec timer is appropriate. NOT "playing quickly" but playing w/memory from yrs here! It takes out ALL help programs (cough) from the GAME! IMHO

  The people in our CC hang in our teamspeak3 server and we have done 30sec shot alt shot games. Total riot. 45sec shot clock was not fun, and we typically opt for the 60sec one.
