    SHRUDE:

I can't see any of the higher level putters being bought any more.

    I agree.

I feel WGT have shot themselves in the foot since bringing in these anti sandbagging measures.

We are now seeing top end equipment in the lower levels. Which is now giving the sandbaggers better equipment and has defeated the whole purpose of restricting the clubs by levels.

This putter at L33 is almost twice the price of anything around it and the L70 is similar.

Somone at WGT is is saying "right , lets stick it in at L? and price it at $? to fill the void"

WGT must have lost a % of their sales under level 70ish?

Wgt thinking: "We cant do sh*t to stop sandbagging, but we can earn more money from sandbaggers raising the price of top equipment at lower leves...

    Bingo! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Maybe??   By the time I even reach L98, we will see a higher level Cally driver.  FINGERS crossed ;-)

Maybe.  But probably at level 100 and 4 years away.

I was going to wait until Level 92 before upgrading my putter (looks to be about 6 months away though!), I'm a hit the ding putter, would this new putter suit me?

It has the same precision but better balance and slightly more forgiveness. I might just give it a try

I got to L92, finally, bought the Ghost, against my better judgement, (yep, why didn't I rent it first?)and after still not being able to get the hang of it, sold it back.

I saw the Odyssey, bought the Odyssey & love the damn Odyssey.

I even cut the umbilical cord and resold my much loved Manta.

The increments of 15,30 & 60 will do me.

If I ever need to go back and find a ding that's gone missing, it has the same slots as the WGT Starter.

    The Owl.

Well I got the new putter and it's as good as it says. It'll take me a while to get used to the different scales but it seems to straighten out some of those curly long putts.

The  increments bug me on that new putter... Reminds me of that dreaded starter putter.

Well I got it on Thursday and it's now Sunday and I just don't know if I like it over the level 35 Ghost Spider.  The distances do not seem as consistent as my Ghost Spider and I'm completely confused.  I can get my distances pretty much dead on 90% of the time with the Ghost Spider but this I just can't find any consistent way to putt with.

I normally take the footage and then add or subtract 1 foot per inch up or downhill.  I will then take off 25% and then take off a hair more if it's downhill or a hair less if it's uphill.  I do that with this and some putts have perfect speed while others can be 3-4 feet short, especially the shorter putts inside 10-15 feet.

Ok after a couple of more rounds I've adjust how I play the 15 foot range on the putter.  I pretty much slam them all full speed or take about a foot off and I've been making many more putts.

The other scales I'm still a bit unsure about.  It seems like I need to calculate it about 10-15% instead of 25% like I had been with the Ghost putter.
