Odyssey Versa putter

  What the Specs say is always not true...

  The Max Balls are getting faster...  I have to go back to my nikes and come back to the Max's to get the slow meter again.....lol

  I was thinking of Renting the putter... now I know the mter speed is faster the the Rossa... I might pass on that...

  Is the New Putter good for miss the ding style putting?

  I'm a "miss the ding" putter guy, and I used it for two days.  Probably not long enough to give is a decent review, but I was hoping the forgiveness would help on those 6-9ft putts but my putting struggled even more, it's kinda like the Nike Method where it is better for longer putts.  It seemed smoother but it was pretty much where you aim it, it went.  Plus with the added balance you didnt need to hit as hard so my lines were always off, compared to my Ghost Spider level+66.  Went back to my Ghost and was back to my old self making a lot more putts.  GL

  i rented the Odessey Versa....and its every bit as good as the Max Control....i actually was impressed with how accurate it is....i'm weighing my thoughts on it but i may switch to the Versa.....its not as ding sensitive as the majority i have tried...i also tried the new Callaway driver....it a very good driver.....very forgiving and is equal to the R1 TP driver....i was hitting it about as long as the L81 G20 driverand its high/med trajectory is good for the windy courses

  I usually try to ding my putt's save for some shorter one's where I may miss a little for insurance, and the Versa seems fine with that.  Personally I do not think this putter compares to the L77 Nike short putt wise.  Good as the Nike was shorter putts definitely needed a marked extra "oomph", not the case here. 

  I have only had this thing a day but so far it's a Level 80 MAX behaviour wise, but with the L77 Nike ultra slow meter.  The Versa's increments are not as good as either IMO (v personal and no biggie to me) but overall it merit's it's place in my bag so far.

  Still early thought's on a new toy..................Some saying issue's with meter speed but not experienced by me...so far............

  I'm a miss ding putter and i love this one. Think my last rounds been 27,27,26,26,56,57 have to give the credit to the putter on this one.

  for me...both look the same speed..

  Where's the difference ?

  Don't get me wrong....I like the putter....I like the Rossa too...but there's no difference in speed as far as I can see. I had the Nike method and that was much slower....I just hated the meter increments.

  Guys my Post here isnt to know if the Versa is good or not , in my opinion its good like the Ghost Spider top level but that is my point ! Why WGT offers a product that is accurate to that offered by under another brand, and does not have the attribute that offer in this case the lower meter speed!  Why with your mind clear you are going to spend over $ 20 for something you already have?

  Haven't tried the putter as I have the Nike, and that is good.

  But just to confirm what I have heard, like the Nike RZN balls, when I first got them they were fantastic, definitely slower than others, but now they are not.

  Have gone back to the Level 81's
