    Jimbog1964:

Had the ODYSSEY for a couple days.

So L80 MAX VERSUS L70 ODYSSEY (Nike L81 ball) out interest:

Thanks, they make interesting viewing.  If there is any difference at all it's barely measurable and certainly not what is advertised.

I'm hoping to get used to mine.  I was missing at least 1 or 2 putts per round due to missed dings with the L92 Ghost and am hoping the extra forgiveness of the Odyssey might make a difference.  I was also expecting a slower meter, looks like I got let down there though.

WGT should either make the meter the correct speed or alter the graphic in the pro shop.  And if they do that then anyone who has already bought one should be able to sell it back for the full price.  I'm pretty sure the meter was a big factor for everyone who bought it, clearly this product does not offer what it advertises and a refund should be offered.

    Regrettably I now must concur!

I also (no video to prove it sadly) think it has increased in speed since I first got it.  I did my best testing the Odyssey v the Max after had it a day or so thinking, is it me or, does it seem quicker that at first. Odyssey still wins by a hair to me, but should be more noticeable as you say! If this was a local Pro Shop I think they would be very sorry.

I still like it but worth the extra money.............??  ...Real point is should just function as described.

Just by chance if any one has the Nike side by side be interesting to see what speed that now runs at!

ran it side by side w/ the versa video posted here,
method seems to be slower when you put game window
side by side with video window, loaded the same ball
just to be sure, and yeh, method is slower, not by much though.

I had a question about the Versa putters. Let me say I did rent the level 70 Versa and liked the putter very much. Mostly because it has the same meter increments as the Rossa.

    My question is,

Is it worth paying 700 credits more for the level 70 Versa over the level 33 Versa putter?

The level 33 Versa has a half dot less of precision and 1.5 dots more forgiveness than the Rossa. The level 70 Versa has a half dot more of balance and a half dot more of precison over the level 33 Versa.

I'm finding it hard to spend an additional 700 credits for a couple of half dots. lol

Any thoughts from the community and Versa putter users would be appreciated.

The increments aren't exactly the same as the Rossa.

That is a huge difference for putters in this game. An increase in precision along with better ability to hold a putting line is going to enhance your longer putts.  1/2 dot more in precision and it's a 92 Ghost with a slow meter and more forgiveness.

Thanks YankeeJim for weighing in on this. I'm going for the gusto and getting the level 70 Versa. Like I posted earlier, I rented the level 70 Versa putter and loved it.

I just didn't know if it was worth the extra credits for a few half dots. Thanks for the wisdom.

It's a great putter. The only problem I've had is changing from a spider where the increments are very different. The change from a Rossa should be a lot smoother and bring quick results.
