    Hi Everyone,

Was not sure where to post this but equipment is good enough I think.

I looked at my equipment and found one Lexus Vapor ball.  Did not know where it came from, but so excited to try it out.  I really love that ball.

The reason I say "Pro Shop Is Teasing me" is because I was playing an 18 hole Royal St. George tournament and on the 16th hole the ball was snatched away and replaced with the starter free balls.  Now I know that is there option to do that, but hey couldn't you wait until I at least finished my round of 18 holes?  I had the best round I have had here since joining some 2 1/2 weeks ago so I do love the ball but 125 credits is a lot for 3 of those balls.

Anyway, thanks Pro Shop for letting me use the ball a short time anyway. Also, thank you to the kind people who gifted me some balls as well.  I sure do appreciate it!

Does anyone know of a comparable ball that costs less credits with the slow swing meter?

it's a really crappy ball ladychipper.
it has no spin no distance no nothing.
for only 44 credits a sleeve you can find a ball with better attributes,
like the GI-D for example  that gives you an extra dot for distance and durability,
or the GI-S for 49 credits that gives you spin instead of distance
(to  help you land better on the green), however I'd suggest
the G12-S which will give you an even slower meter, and only costs
about 20 credits more.  granted those have no vapor and a lexus logo on them,
but who needs that really, game wise, I think you'll like those a lot better
than the lexus starters. good luck.

It definitely is a crappy ball.  It's also a highly annoying ball.  I remember playing a practice round with some woman who had that stupid Valentine's ball with the heart vapor.  You could almost hear my RAM getting chewed on like a rawhide bone.

That's not teasing you, Lady.  If you're not sure what it's like being teased, give big daddy Mike a shout.  He'll tease ya but good.

I expect you got the ball for starting the Merion Open tournament. Any ball with more spin will help your game.

when I first began playing here there was noway near the choice of balls that is now available.

My favorite ball was either the gsd series ball, or the g13 ball.  both cheap and worked well, but as you experienced they have a short duration period.

if you have been playing a ball for more than 2 games monitor your ball life in the graph at the lower right of screen.

    Hope this helps, My Nickle.

    Thanks for the advise everybody!

What I meant by teasing me was the fact that the ball got snitched away while I was playing a tournament on the 16th hole. Not nice!!

I did not realize these balls had a ball life span.  Are all the balls you buy like that??

Somehow, I now have 3 new Lexus balls in my equipment.  Thank you whoever did this!

I have been looking at the G13-S ball and it looks pretty good to me. Still kinda like the white vapor the Lexus leaves as you can see it bounce along and it is a lot more accurate then the starter balls that I have been mostly playing with.

I am also liking the Odyssey Versa #1 Black Putter L33+ when I can collect enough credits.  Trying to save for it.

    Thanks Again,

    Ladychipper

Yes a ball will vary from 90-120 hits (excludes putts) on average and this is the "durability" - the more dots the longer it will last. It also will be lost if you hit it OB or in weeds/water.

Better balls do help but again work better with better clubs. Just enjoy until you have accrued the credits to upgrade.

If you look at our account it will say where the balls came from.

Edit - WGT uses the one ball rule - so the type of ball you start with is the type you finish with - if it is your last all a pop up will show advising this and gives you the option to buy more. If you run out as you did it reverts to the starters ball so you can finish the round but you cannot use any other ball.

Okay Alanti, but that stinks!  I thought that the only way to lose a ball would be to water.

Oh well, I guess thems the brakes.

    Thanks for the information!

The GI3-S is a great ball and very good value for money.

any ball with a 'feel' rating will slow your meter down.

The GI (Game Improvement) balls all have a feel rating.

I am wondering now if the clubs you upgrade to are the same way.  Do they have a certain life span like the balls do?

How long would the G13-S balls last me?
