  We do not sabotage anyone's round. If I had to guess, you were on a fridge, so sometimes you may get a much higher putter. Even in that's the case, you should never trust the caddie, but always verify the club you have.

  It is difficult putting from the "fridge".I suggest you try hitting from the 'range" next time.You won't need such a 'high" putter either.   ;)

  I was NOT on the fringe I was 5 feet from the fringe and 22 feet from the hole.  In my past life, before I retired, I was a programmer.  You can not make me believe that the geniuses who wrote this program don't have enough sense to use variables to prevent this from happening.  There is no reason for it at all. Nice try but it’s not working!

  Then you would be the only player on WGT that received a default 150 foot meter, being 22 feet from the hole while on the green.

   

  I've played probably 5000 rounds+, and it's never happened to me.

   

  Question though...for what reason would WGT want to sabotage your round?...only logical conclusion would be they want you to quit playing and quit spending money...doesn't make much sense, does it?

  Not for nothing but moving the scroll wheel by accident on the mouse also changes the footage on the meter. It's possible while moving the mouse in your hand you accidentally scrolled the wheel and changed it yourself. We've all had something like this happen so I know why you're a little pissed. You must develop a pre-shot routine checking the footage every time before you make a putt. Every so often I forget and still end up with the wrong meter footage on a putt. It happens to all of us. WGT isn't going to make any change, we have to do this ourselves.

  i was on Bethpage front 9 once and was about to putt on the 3rd green when Chad....Icon....and other WGT staff wearing hockey masks leapt out of the bushes with baseball bats and kicked 7 colours of crap out of me for mouthing off in the forums.

  what were they all doing in the bushes? i don't know.....but it happened.

  I still suffer flashbacks and have been mentally scarred ever since.
