  Right now i'm finding it hard to arrange a game with anyone and the main reason is the lack of a chat room to arrange which course we'll play on, see who's available, and just chat.

  Maybe add a chat room to the game cilent?  Shouldn't automatically open but it should be there...

  a great suggestion - many looking for non-quitters to play with are forced to go off site and use other communities to organize games. The chat options there, as well as Skype, are GREAT tools for setting up matches and communicating in-game.

  I think he means that the game should just have it's own chat room!

  He knew that tfence, he just elaborated on that in a somewhat cryptic reply that you can't just glance over and think you know what he's saying.

  I totally agree with this. Setting up games with friends is a nightmare sometimes...

  There should be a chat window that's accessible from the WGT home screen. I've played other games that had this feature, such as Skillground's Utour and setting up multiplayer games was a breeze.

  Can anyone from WGT confirm whether or not this is being considered....?

  I don't like how a match play game with your friends just ends after the match is over. There's no way to continue a chat session after the game is over. It seems backwards.

  They have a chat box we can use at the beginning of a multi-player game, when the players are ready, the game loads, cutting-off all chat. Put this feature at the end of the match as well, and let us end the chat session with a button when the players are ready to end it.

  They added the chat capability a long time ago Richard.  After a match play ends you're taken to the scorecard and in the bottom right corner is a button to go to chat.  If both players click it you're back in the game lobby where the match started.

  O ok Andyson, thanks for that. I don't know how I missed that. It might be that I don't play much multi-player games.

  It is.  In the meantime there is a chat function at the WGTLS Ladders site (there may be one at Golfseekers too, but I'm not sure) as well as a small group who use IRC for day to day communications and chat.  Try some of those options. =)

  Golfseeker no longer supports chat, but have started utilizing Skype instead - just FYI. Hence the support for an on-site chat function outside of the match - it is much needed.
