I am pretty sure this is as WGT did not develop the Tru Golf courses that the Green fee is part of the agreement with TruGolf and there hands would be tied.

Also perhaps  an indication fewer people use them than anticipated, especially bearing in mind they did reduce the fees.

Like any freebie the idea is to hopefully entice people to play them in the future - whether they can afford it or not is another story but I think WGT do deserve praise when they have promotions like this.

    Me too..

Thank you for giving something back WGT, i like many others have been feeling very dissatisfied as of late, today i lost 3 balls in the 'weeds' i could pretty much SEE my balls yet i WGT just decided to take them from me.. i swore i would not buy another ball from you. Im about to go buy 2 sleeves of maxies to show my support.

Whistler hole #3 has a weird invisible wall that ate a whole sleeve of my max meter balls ... not happy AT ALL

    True!

These Tru-0Golf courses aren't created by WGT. So WGT has to pay some kind of fee or licensing on them.

However, even like Road Companies and toll ways, even they get paid off eventually.

For those who avoid these courses because of the fees, they now can enjoy them for a couple of days.

Although the are no where near the graphics quality of the regular WGT Courses.
    - Even more reason why there should be no fees on these 2 courses.

    Because that's all they do.

I just enjoyed a mind bending round of Uneven Lies on Whistler. Loved it bigtime.

Don't get why folk are thankful not to have to pay green fees for 2 days.

Green fees on a virtual golf course are just a rip off.

Friends of mine who can't afford to pay green fees are playing the courses this weekend and loving them.

This doesn't mean they're going to pay to play these after this weekend.

You can either afford to pay green fees or you can't.

All courses on here should be free to play . . . end of . .

I am sorry to hear your friends can't afford to pay for the courses on a normal basis, this is one of the reasons we try and do things like this for the entire community here on WGT.  Gives players a chance to play the courses that they normally would not be able to.  Whether or not they ever play the course again after this, I hope they take advantage of the free weekend, score well, and enjoy playing them.

Thanks for the free fee weekend.  Kinda nice to play Whistler and Cabo and not have to check the credit inventory.  Plus this gives some of the newer members that don't have credits to spend except on trying to upgrade equipment and decent balls, a chance to play them too.

Even though the graphics is not the same as our normal courses... I really enjoy Cabo,  Whistler not as much though.

Wgt should have an option of people paying the green fees for other people in the  group. This way alot more people can enjoy them...or hate them...lol and Wgt/Trugolf can still get the credits.
