Been wondering why Titleist balls are not included in WGT?  They have been around just about as long as I can remember, so how about adding them to the inventory!

I don't know the answer, I can guess it has something to do with "licensing agreement(s)".

Would be nice to have the # 1 ball in golf

For that matter, it would add just a little more realism to replace some of the WGT balls with low end golf balls from real life. Setting sights a little lower could add a lot more "real life" equipment for lower licensing fees. Top-flite, Maxfli Noodles and the like. Chromax golf balls with their metallic colors might almost pay WGT for the advertising they would get by letting WGT add their product here. The same for a low-level company that puts out distance "rocks" like Ti-Tech.

The low level "real-life" balls won't happen from a big name company because of

    1. Company image. A big name company only wants their best stuff represented here.

    2. WGT profit. WGT balls require no royalty payments. Only a smaller company or a company whose bread and butter is low-end will be willing to let WGT use their stuff for little or no fees.

Just give me a generic ball with 5 dots of spin, distance, feel and durability, who cares about what brand name is on them its all a computer program anyway.

How many hundreds of dollars per sleeve are you willing to pay for this "MAX Ultimate" Golf ball? If enough people are willing to pay a high enough price they just might do it.

Imagine the howling when one is lost.

The point was brand name means nothing, I get a kick out of people wanting this brand and that brand thinking the hot new RL club or ball will improve their game on here.

I know brand name means nothing to game performance. It just adds a little fun to the experience by adding additional realism to the graphics.

When I'm fooling around with my flight simulator it's a lot more fun to be in a Cessna, Mooney or Boeing with cockpit graphics that look like their real life counterparts than to be in a Microsoft brand airplane.

Imagination is a key ingredient in the experience.

You, sir, must be a salesman/woman.  C'mon!  Out with it!  Which company?  ;)
