If you play golf, if you play pool, if you've played links, if you've played golden tee, if you have a reasonable understanding of concepts like friction and trajectory and gravity, this game just isn't all that complicated.
The concept of a ball with backspin flying higher and landing softer isn't one I needed WGT to teach me. Neither is aiming left when the wind is blowing from the right. Neither is an uphill shot rolling more because it's on a flatter trajectory. These are all basic elements of physics.
I feel no duty to convince people I've never met, people whom I don't think I would get along with anyway, that I'm not a secret tour legend in some nefarious plot to fleece little old ladies out of their imaginary WGT money.
I started this topic to find out how I'd do against the best players if we were evenly matched. It doesn't look like that's going to happen.
