    Peelcat:

goat, btw what is your other screen name you go by?  just wondering.

I realize the urge to make some snarky anonymous accusation based on nothing more than intuition must be overwhelming, but I'd politely ask you to fight that urge.

Please think about what you're saying before posting ridiculous crap. I get no advantage at all by being a low level legend. I tee off from the same spot and my equipment is inferior.

I deal with the same conditions, but I do it with inaccurate irons, short drives, faster meters, and wedges with less spin.

Where is the upside, Peelcat? This is a challenge to see if the best are really the best, or if they're just good with the best equipment. It's all for fun and not for imaginary profit.

I have as much game as any player on WGT, but I'm stuck with garbage clubs.

    Xhot driver (L74)

    G20 3w (L59)

    G20 irons (L59)

    Ping 54 wedge (L60)

    Ping 60 wedge (L60)

    Ping 64 wedge (L42)

    Daytona Rossa (L55)

    Nike Xi-X (L71)

So come on all you mighty TLs, use those useless credits to buy some crappy equipment and play me heads up. No equipment advantage.

Dollars to donuts I'll win more than I lose.

Looks like you killed it at TM and Tiered up to Legend pretty early. From what I can see, you play very well with the clubs in your bag at this time. I understand you may be frustrated with not being able to purchase better clubs to play in the Legend tier but everybody has to play away to get the XP's one way or another.

I certainly wouldn't expect TL's to purchase lower level clubs just to take on your challenge. Unless you're going somewhere, the TL's will be here to take on when you make it to TL level. With the ability you've already shown, you'll knock it out as soon as your 500 ranked rounds at Legend are completed.

    Good Luck...

I'm not interested in playing for credits. I don't want your money and I don't want to give you mine. Just want to see how I fare against the best on an equal footing.

mbaggese - you think we should both play with starter clubs? fine. I don't care what clubs we play with so long as we play with the same equipment.

I'm not credit heavy to where I can by a set of level 59 clubs and such, that's why I suggest starter gear, and since we both have the Rossa...and probably use Nikes, our putters and balls would be fine.

Invite accepted and will be green later on after some RG donations.

For the record, I never assumed you as a 2nd accounter.

Yes, the stats are very telling here.

    Yes they are - LMAO

Breaking par on your 2nd and 3rd rounds ever on WGT - the second day you were in the game.....80% scrambling and 70% Sand saves - 52% one putt all in 114 ranked rounds.   215.00 earnings and yet only 6 friends (four of which are from today as a result of this thread)....  A born natural I guess.

Sorry while you appear honest and transparent those stats (alongside your score and activity history) really are not congruent with what you are saying.  I certainly could be wrong though and get where you are coming from if in fact what you say is true.

All said something just doesnt smell right here.

GLA - will be interesting to hear of the outcome from these challenges....

If you play golf, if you play pool, if you've played links, if you've played golden tee, if you have a reasonable understanding of concepts like friction and trajectory and gravity, this game just isn't all that complicated.

The concept of a ball with backspin flying higher and landing softer isn't one I needed WGT to teach me. Neither is aiming left when the wind is blowing from the right. Neither is an uphill shot rolling more because it's on a flatter trajectory. These are all basic elements of physics.

I feel no duty to convince people I've never met, people whom I don't think I would get along with anyway, that I'm not a secret tour legend in some nefarious plot to fleece little old ladies out of their imaginary WGT money.

I started this topic to find out how I'd do against the best players if we were evenly matched. It doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Thanks to those of you who said nice things. The rest can bite me.
