To the Product developers:  Please change/adjust or otherwise correct the chipping/pitching strokes as they are currently unrealistic and destructive to the credibility of your product.  Hopefully, in the next version of the product, this problem will be fixed.

Just keep practicing, they work pretty well once you get the hang of them. And don't forget the flop and punch.

Getting rid of those crappy Starter wedges will certainly help your short game. Custom wedges like Ping or better are much more controllable and add to fun and success in the game!

I agree, the starters wedges border on shocking as they are neither precise, forgiving and are inconsistent.

Also read the following guide and search the forums for help.

    Bruce,

I don't know if you are still playing or even reading this forum but I whole-heartedly agree that they have a problem with the chipping/pitching stroke in the game. A chip shot is a finesse shot and you shouldn't have to full power the swing to get the ball to move. Then when you do try to use what would be considered enough power to hit the shot it ALWAYS chili dips the shot. I wish I had a credit for every time it has done it to me so far. I would not have to worry about ball "money" for a long time....

    Sincerely,

    Keith G (W4RKG)

May I have a free guess?

I suppose that you take the shot given by the auto-caddie, right?

Unfortunately, 90% of their chips will fail, as will 70% of the pitches. You'll have to make your own decisions. Have a look at the Tips there =>

First rule of thumb: Let chips and pitches land on the green and calculate 80% roll for chips and 40-60 % roll for pitches.

Get a 64 Cleveland wedge and use pitch ... That club is a killer once you get it working. I won't post replays here, but I have many saved on my profile, if you want proof. :)  Good luck to you.
