how to move up Tour Legend ?

  To move up to Tour Legend tier you need 500 ranked rounds as a legend AND a 59.99 average. I myself just got promoted back in May 2013 of this year and spent 8 months "chipping away" at my legend average from a 68 to a 59.99 (I was a legend from Sept. 2012 to May 2013). Some people think that T.L. comes at 60 but that's not true, when i reached 60 i had to shoot 1 more round of 29 or better to make 59.99 , at that moment when i scored my last 29 or better (was a 28 B.T.W.) WGT informed me i was promoted to Tour Legend tier after my solo stroke round. Hope this helps.

  Have you really seen 59.99? Sorry to say, I doubt this. Legend averages come with three digits, one of them unseen. 59.99 would have been less than 59.995, in fact 59.994 or less.

  Fact is, one shot is worth 1/500 = 0.002 on the average, thus that 60.00 that you've seen actually may not have promoted you because it was a 60.002 or 60.004.

  To get from 60.002 to 59.994 is a four shot drop (4/500 = 0.008). Thus, a 32 / 64 would have been in the average pot - possible but unlikely IMHO. The quest for 29s and 30s might create enough 31s to kick them out.

  Fact is that all of the previous promotions take place at x.00 - seen a few of those. Why should it be different on the brink of TL?

  Damn, I am so dissapointed at this thread. I was hoping someone was going to play in my place to acheive TL Status. Seems like my only hope lol

  When you get to Tour Legend does your average reset? What I mean by that is do you have to saturate your ranked rounds again? I don't fancy the slog to get to 59.98, just to play Oak and bounce to 65 or worse.LOL

  Yes it does, and yes that will be your fate.

  It's 500 ranked rounds as a TL to reach saturation.
