    Kelsey12:

Losing to a lower tiered player shouldn't automatically sound the alarms, but if you've been playing the game long enough, you can pretty much tell when someone has abilities that might go beyond what an average Tour Pro plays at, or even a fairly good Tour Pro. We're not stupid.

I'm certainly no stranger to MPC and can say with almost certain certainty 95% to as high as each and every pro, TP, and higher level M, in the MPC is a multi accounter, they are mostly re-created legends as well with great skills but poor equipment.

It was not the multi accounter that killed the MPC, it was the changes that promoted the lower tiers if they beat a higher tiered player that killed it dead. They moved over to skins and blitzes now, so not entirely sure what was solved in killing a perfectly good format of play.

Before the changes you could find a game easily, and level 40 pro TP would pop up 400 credits into the box with regularity, now Legends are booted before the screen finishes loading.

In addition, I know before the changes the weaker legend player needed to be careful about playing lower tiered players else they be fleeced, but with a little care, a good match could be had.

It was all about selection, if you played a TP in MPC, and he/she birdied every hole, you selected to play a TP at to high of a level as the lower level equipment will not allow that to happen. I recall there used to be a level 91 ish TP who was on cabo, all day everyday, his handle was LA something, cannot recall exactly, but you had to be a FKN total retard to play that guy, but when you looked at his stats he had in excess 20,000 matchplay games under his belt.

Personally playing a multi did not bother me, I had superior equipment, and a longer road to travel, but being match play, it's all about me making birdie and if I made enough of them I won, I was not looking to win with a par.

    I would play 3 - 6 games per day, now I'm lucky to get 1 a month.

In addition, not once did I ever consider reporting the obvious multi accounter, or the sandbagger, I went into the game with my eyes wide open and they were a very good source of credit income so i had no intention of killing the golden goose. The goose is deader then a door knob now though anyway, and i grieve that loss daily now and miss him dearly. May he RIP.

    But times have changed.

Thanks Steve, appreciate all this post but this spot is the key.
    I can confirm this too.

The demoralization last month comes when you realize that "those available" to play for a MPC are very few if not "the usual suspects" with which we are accustomed to meet us.

Now I open a new thread, I got an idea.
