Separate Open for those who Cant shoot in the 50s

  Hello can we have a Separate Open for those who cant shoot in the 50s.I think in the 3 years i have been playing the best i did ever was a 68 i think.Any way I cant shoot no 54 or whatever the Legends are shootig in the qualifyer.Wgt needs to do something to stop shooting in the 50s so often by players.I was just wondering does the same guy win all the trips on this game.What is sad is I wanted to play in the Open and damit i tried but got a 2 over.But everytime i try to make it to the open the cut line is like 56 or 58 just to impossible for me I cant shoot a Eagle every hole.But I know i will get comments on this post that will say if they can shoot in the 50s so could you.But I would have to reply maybe the guy who shoots in the 50s is the owner of WGT.I dunno this post may not make sense to you but it sort of makes sense to me.:/

  i think making the us open a 4 day tourny with 4 different pin locations and no RESTARTS would bring down the scoring alot.

  no qualifying round just 4 day multi round if u withdraw then bye bye, im not keen on this play all day every day restarting if u dont birdie the 1st few holes

  Ya don't have too...just play through and post a round...FWIW I depise unlimited tourneys...I do on e restart a day and after the first 4 or 5 holes I decide whether to play on, or toss it in until the next day.

   

  Keeps my sanity:)

   

  But to the OP...never going to happen, golf doesn't have a losers bracket...why should a person win something who can only put up a 65...where as someone in the Open gets no love for his 61?

  Restarting games over and over... just bores me to tears. I posted one round which was a 66 and looking at the the full course... I knew with time I would probably break that 60 and maybe shoot 56-57.....  but I really couldn't be bothered putting in the time to do so.....lol

  I remember the British Open on Rsg... my 2nd attempt I shot a 58 or something silly like that.. cut was below that score...  and to this day... have not got anywhere near that score on that course....lol

  Never Say Never.... One day... you just might shoot that great score.

  I think it should be 4 rounds of Single play Qualifying.....  then the top whatever goes into the final.  2 months Unlimited is a bit much.

  I think when i first entered (long time to make the cut this year)

  3 weeks or 4 weeks extra to past years.

  Nice course have not played it under champ green conditions (any1 want to have a hit around there send an invite bored at present :o)

  The only way I would even want this to  happen would be to have a Senior U.S. Open for players over 50 years of age only. Just having 2 Opens because the some players can't make the cut line is just wrong. And if they even tried I believe The U.S.G.A would not allow it.  

  For your information any one who works for WGT in any capacity is not eligible to play in the U.S. Open. That is why you don't see a great player like Iconian anywhere on the U.S. Open leader board.

  I understand that an unlimited qualifier for the US Open makes money for WGT. Ball consumption might be highest on the holes No1 thru 4.

  But I really think the qualifier need some change - here is my proposal for next year (or maybe this years OPEN)

  1Rd Qualifier:   Unlimited for 4 weeks - Cut 1280 best players

  2.RD Qualifier: Unlimited for 3 weeks - Cut 640 best players

  3. Rd Qualifier: Unlimited for 2 weeks - Cut 320 best players

  4. Rd Qualifier: Unlimetd for 1 weeks , Cut at 160 players

  I think this could bring even more playing to the Qualifier and give WGT more earnings.

   I do not think that single round qualifying rounds will ever happen, even if I would like that much better - like streching it out over several month in the monthly single rounds.
