really? and all these people that agree with me sound the same? just tired of the same crap. im sorry that u think differently

Hmm, not quite sure how to answer all of the entries sounding off about this new course thats coming up, but i'll try.

in my 3 1/2 years here, playing no less than once a day. (Hospital time excepted)  I have found that I am unable to keep up with all that WGT offers, CTTH, 3 hole Pratice, Blitz games,  Full Stroke,  9, or 18 holes, front or rear, Skin games. Alternate shot games, Match play, Ready to Go's, Tournaments, both WGT, and Country Club, and then of course the ability to play only a one hole to help save your consecutive days bonus points.

I am sure I probably left something off of the list, and I'm sure some person will point out what it or they were.  My point is, in all this time playing I can not say that I have conquered  any course, hole or even a particular drive, or  putt.

There are many players here who can say that they have over come certain courses, etc by being able to consistently play at a remarkable level of play.  Even then,  if they chose,  to make a course more interesting the factors that govern the game can be radically changed.

I can understand that there might be a slight boredom issue with those of higher purpose than the rest of us, but I do not believe that it should matter so much that the course would be able to be overcome by so many so quickly that it would render it as useless as some of you say.

Remember it is a business for profit.  They do not charge anyone to play here, except the 2 cartoon courses, you can play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 1/4 days a year and never have to spend a dime.  I think  it is great that a player can do that!

Of course the other side of the coin dictates that to be compeitive as you move up in level you may have to spend some money.  That is the choice we all have to make at some point.

Overall I think that new is good.  If it is less than some demand, let them make the choice to play or not!  No one is forcing you to play.  Think before you mouth off next time about what you DIDN"T get as to what you DO have.

    my nickle.

Yes actually all of you do sound like spoiled children. And in my opinion an adult acting this way is even worse that a spoiled child!

And since when is getting to vote for the holes that we want included on a new course the same crap??? As far as I know we have never got to vote for what holes we wanted included in any course even the best of courses!

I have mixed feeling, yes I would prefer an 18 hole full stroke play course, but this is also the first time the players will have some input into deciding on which holes will be used.

I know negotitaions to secure the use of any course can be difficukt and protracted, so without knowing the details it is hard to comment on, but I am sure WGT would have preferred a full 18 hole course, but the saying beggars can't be choosers springs to mind.

I appreciate any course WGT can produce and having said that,  know many lessor known courses/clubs would love to have the exposure WGT could bring them, so would it not be prudent of WGT to explore these avenues (especially when the Open Courses appear to be non goers)?

Borntobestung would suit you better. Every post you make reeks of sycophancy.

Oooh getting to vote... not really what the discussion is about is it?

It's another par 3 bore-fest. Thought this game was billed as the 'most realistic'? Par 54 for 18 isn't the norm in the real world is it?

Once again WGT had the chance to really impress and once again they've settled for mediocrity.

There's a new kid on the block, WGT - you really need to start pulling out all the stops or even more users will be looking elsewhere for their online golf fix.

    :O)

Couldn't agree more. There's nothing like the full 18 hole stroke play for me, but that's only my opinion. I really have no interest in 9 hole par 3 courses, but I'm sure many do and I would respect that also. For people who think the same as me, let's just hope that the next full 18 stroke play course is underway..... and not too far away.

I am doing my very best here to remain positive !
