    IMO, the L59 G20 irons were a good step up from the L32 R11 irons. While the precision was not a huge step, the high loft definitely was. And I was so pleased with being able to get more shots to stick with those G20 irons... until I got the L79 Bladez, and experience greater precision and even greater stick (when desired, even with longer clubs in many conditions).

    IMO it comes down to budget. If you can afford to go L32 R11 -> L59 G20 -> L79 Bladez -> L90 R11, I say do it.

    Well so far I have to say I am satisfied with the new R11 set and the Ghost Spider Putter with the Callaway Tour I(s) Balls. The upgrade in equipment has helped my play, starting to see lower scores. I may have to upgrade again but for now I am happy and enjoying playing WGT. Daryl

    Valuable information, Kitty, and a confirmation regarding the lvl32 R11's.

    May I conclude that one possible effective(!) sequence of clubs may be seen in a selection of

    L32 R11 (L48 Rapture) - L59 G20 - L79 Bladez (L83 G20) - L90 R11 ?

    (XPs: 12,900 (48,900), 88,500, 200,000 (255,000), 487,000)

    Counting with  conservative 1000 XPs per day, it's stunning how much time will be gained with the low R11 and the Bladez in comparison to their alternatives. Alas, the individual tier advancement has to be taken into account: When will so. become Master, when a Legend?

    Well I have to say that upgrading to the TaylorMade 56 ad 64 (L39) degree wedges was a huge improvement over the free wedges you get. I could not get the ball close to the pin, as I progressed up in tier it became more difficult. It was pretty much a have to if I wanted to shoot lower scores. I have held off on a 60 degree wedge but I can see the need for it. I really debated back and forth between the Cleveland and TaylorMade wedges but I am happy with the TM's. The TM wedges perform really well. Thanks to everyone for their input as it was a huge help. Daryl

    One thing to remember, and its important is that every level takes longer to get to than the one just reached...I do like your selection though

    No, no, no you've got it all wrong....

    G10 Ping Clubs, Snake Eyes Wedges and a Tour Starter Putter are unbelievable.

    Or you could buy the Starter Plus Club Set and save up your credits for a telephone call with Mr WGT.

    Dunno who you object to, but I'm sure you had a pound of salt on your table while writing this... :)

    Yes, I have noticed the point requirement is going up dramatically and so is the level of difficulty. But I do love playing this game.

    the pound of salt on my table idiom is lost on me, I even tried to Google it but had no luck?

    ...of course what I wrote was tongue-in-cheek. Opinions on clubs are subjective, some clubs stand out well above others but all one needs to do is read the reviews and if they're still not sure.... well that's what 'renting' is for :)

    There are many grains in a pound of salt, you see?

    And, on the table is close to your keyboard )
