Or ones that look like us. Can you do a short and skinny one for me please.

Actually I'd much rather have an Avatar that has my actual head on it or even better I take a picture of myself and my Avatar is a likeness of me. I'm not vain because if you saw me you'd see an over weight 65 yr. old man so vanity isn't here.

I doubt they're ever going to introduce that level of customization. This thread is not about customizing avatars, it's about introducing new avatars based on real golfers.

I quite like the idea but I assume that in reality WGT would probably need the permission from the said golfers, even if they are just "lookalike".

Personally I think avatars are overated and certainly overpriced. Fun if you have the credits, but when I pay to play, I would rather my money spent on balls or equipment.

even if it's just a 'lookalike' without a full name? (just a first initial and family name). I would have thought unless they state that the avatar is lets say for example Tiger Woods then they wouldn't have to worry about permission. I must admit I don't know a lot about  copyright laws but I think that seems a bit crazy...though maybe I've been living in China too long where they overtly break every copyright law ever made :)

I agree it would be nice to see the price of the expensive avatars come down a bit.

If WGT were to push forward with the idea they might set them between 400CR and 1200CR? Aside from the costs, what do you think of the idea? Personally I think introducing a new collection of avatars based on real golfers would sell fast.

Certainly faster than 500,000CR which is what it costs to customize your own avatar!

Cost is key for me but then I have never been one to buy much high price designer so what do I know :).......Don't get me wrong the money I have wasted on putters etc IRL lol, so I can spend as needlessly as any one:) Here though 400 to 1200 I would think they would sell like hot cakes though! Copyright wise it is immediately a grey area, and that's where the hourly rate for expensive lawyer's lurk's, as do subsequent copyright infringement suit's....Think Apple v Samsung suits around the world.  Also and thinking out loud would WGT and the existing sponsor's really want their name associated with Pseudo Tiger?? Prolly not?? Personally the real deal which I would not care for at any price and it would be a premium one might sell.  As for the current 500,000 to customize as someone said before in another thread only need sell one:)...The second one won't be to me.

    My thought's.....................

I have an MLB baseball game that I customized my player to look like me....when my grand daughter sees me playing she asks me how I got IN THE GAME....there are many custom things to do, and Im sure its too rich for WGTs blood, they would have to up the rake beyond players bankrolls...By the way, I would never pay 25 bucks for any likeness, unless I was rich with credits...Hey heres a thought, there are so many rich with credit players out there, it would be cool for them to be able to buy a bently or some other luxury vehicle that would pull up to the 1st hole, and let them out before they pummel you on the course....you know, give the nerds more of a sense of power that they can never feel in real life...

I wonder how much it'd cost in credits to have an avatar that looks like Jessica Biel in a string bikini?

I think I can find time for a quick fap when I'm playing 4-man pick up games with a 90 second timer.

'a quick fap'?! never heard that one before. Yuck! I shouldn't be surprised with a name like MichaelStroke but really...do you have to take us there?

Great use of onomatopoeia though and by the way I don't mind the idea of a Jessica Biel lookalike in a sting bikini but somehow I don't see WGT going for it.

You'll probably have to 'stick' to those other sites you frequently visit.
