Yea I've gone crazy trying to get mine mapped.  For example on a ding the 3 iron FBS carried 206, 210, and 213 on 3  separate dings after adjusting for the wind and elevation.  Those are the only dings I have mapped on the 3 iron so I'm sure it gets worse.  Most clubs I have found have a 5 yard or more variance even when dinged.

A buddy of mine has the R11's mapped so I can't wait to get to level 90 as it sounds like those irons are much more consistent.

I don't have any concrete numbers or scientific data, but just from playing with the bladez and the 71 Nike for the past few weeks, IMO, the 7 iron in the bladez is effed. I actually wanted to write a post saying that i thought my 7i was broken and could they please fix it. I have had occasions with almost full to full bs with that 7i, rated at 160, in very little wind or even with wind at my back, fly only 147 yards, very little  or no incline as well. We are talking about a shot that should easily go 155 and it goes 147. I can hit the ball 147 with those Nikes with my 8i rated at 145 by not using full backspin.

I think most of the irons sets have a club in them that is peculiar to say the least. I think i have seen many a post about the 8i in the R11 set and how a lot of the players cringe when they land at a yardage that they have to pull that club out. I beleve my frined told me on a missed ding you can lose 8 yards on that club(don't know the exact distance for sure). To lose 8 yards on 8i is huge. Well i believe the 7i in the Rbladez set is similiar.  All of my irons go pretty close to the calculated distance that i come up with, but not that one.

Like i said i don't have concrete numbers its just my feeling.  Another thing to think about is the clubs have rated distance, but that doesn't mean that they are right. Its just a guide. Maybe that club isn't rated at 160 but more like 155. I understand you aren't commenting on that per say, but more to that fact the results are so varied. So i will go back to my original statement. I think the 7i in the Rbladez is effed. I hate when i come up with a distance between 150 and 160 and have to pull that club out. Think I will be learning a 6i punch shot or an 8i full top spin shot a lot better. I

Its almost like the club has no use really, in fact can i trade my 7i in for another wedge. I think if i could figure out how to skull the ball on this game I could buy the 115 cleveland wedge and probably skull it and get it to go 155-160 better and who knows with those clevelands and there crazy back spin I might be able to get the ball to skip across the fairway and green then come to a dead stop

In regards to the 7 Iron... If you use the 7 iron with FULL backspin and use lvl 33 callaway balls it will go 156 yards every time... Even when you miss the ding you will still get 152-154.

It has to be the nike balls... NONE of my clubs go as far as with the callaways.. U may say well you have extra spin... TRUE... but this doesn't apply when my lvl 33 callaways are FLYING further even when the lvl 81 balls have further distance?

Does wgt refund or at least allow you to use your purchase for another type of ball... this is really the biggest waste of credits...

I never found that with the L33 callys. I went with the 35s cuz I couldn't stand how much distance they were losing. It was like when you hit them they just ballooned up into the sky  and got held there.  Just my experience. I found that with most balls that have more spin than distance

2 more things # 1 try moving the dot 1 movement up from full bs or 2, i used to have a similiar problem when i played L48 Nikes and my old baby g20s. If i did full bs i lost a lot of distance, but one move up and it was markedly different. Because really with the spin those clubs have and those balls have even if you move the dot up slightly more than that, the ball is still gonna stop in most situations

2nd thing, and this is just a long shot.  After you switched balls did you dump your flash cache. Sometimes when you change equipment the old attributes of your previous equipment remains, so you have to empty your cache so the new attributes can load

As far as the flash cache goes. NO I didn't... So hopefully that fixes the issues...

In regards to your 2nd point. I will start using 3Q bs and see what that does... only time will tell I guess... not pleased though.. WGT do you hear me... not pleased, lol... Falling on Deaf ears obviously, lol.

as far as the nikes go they are a brilliant ball but missing the ding as yankee jim said is a must not with these balls

eg  a 240 yard shot to a par 3 green and a straight tail wind, if i miss the ding on either side with full bk spin i can end up 15 yards or so either side of the flag.

the nikes are a top performance ball with slow meter so if a miss hit u can pay the price.

with the r11 irons i find

3iron to 5 iron full back spin about 8 yards

    6 iron and 7 iron 7 yards

    8 and 9 iron 5 yards

    pw about 3 yards

but dont shoot me down thats just a rough guide i use in my head depending on what course and hole im playing

    :)

i've always found the 71 Nikes to be the most consistent distance wise using full back on approaches .. moving from the Bladez to the R11's i started using the 81 Nikes; same attributes & consistency .. 90% within 2 yds of where i think the ball will end up provided i'm close or on ding .. also don't notice any real difference in mtr speed between irons & woods with 81's
