Watching replays

  I want to watch a replay while I'm still playing a round but I can't because I can only have one gameclient open at a time. A friend sends me a replay and I can't watch it until I finish my round.

  1. Would you please allow a separate special gameclient for just watching replays.

  Also when you save a replay it saves a URL to some webpage that you then have to click on before you can get the gameclient window. I like to watch a few replays but I find it takes forever waiting and clicking before I can get to the actual replay.

  2. Would you allow the replay URL to be just the gameclient URL so I can go straight to the replay and not have to go to the other webpage first.

  I guess I was just wasting my time posting these suggestions - even though I posted in the "Product Suggestions" forum. lol

  It's notable that no other WGT players commented on your suggestion.

  That is one way WGT can access how  popular, or unpopular, a suggestion is.

  Considering the other benefits of a second game client, it's a shame that it's impossible:

  - play a second round parallel to a tournament and practice all those difficult shots,

  - avoid the hustle of a second PC running if you want to double enter a skins or blitz game,

  - other cheating issues of which I'm not aware.

  Hey Apex, thanks for the reply, now we're getting somewhere. I'm surprised there has been little (or no) responses to this suggestion.

  BTW what do you think of the suggestion?

  I'm not suggesting a second gameclient - I'm suggesting a special gameclient for watching replays. I loathe cheats, mainly because I don't know how they do it. lol

  I never meant to accuse you, and I overlooked your mentioning of a special client. But, what would be WGT's benefit of this extra, and would it not possibly help in cheating? (e.g. showing special shots during play(?))

  A client just for watching replays isn't a bad idea.  Microsoft can make Office software that is for viewing only, I would have thought WGT could manage it as we.....

  Oh, hang on.  I forgot WGT's programmers couldn't find their *** with both hands.
