So we are always talking about virtual golf clubs, so thought it would be fun to change directions and talk a little about what's in your real life golf bag?  So talk about your favorite club in your bag or just the make up of your set.

Driver - R1 Black just put it in this last weekend

    3 wood- R11s TP

    Taylormade TP  3 hybrid

4-pw Mizuno MX 25 with 6.5 Rifle shafts

Vokey Spin Milled 52,56,and 62 degree wedges

    Odyssey Black #9 putter

Look forward to hearing what everyone else has and if you play this weekend what did you shoot?

The only remarkable club in my bag is the Odyssey Sabertooth putter.

I tried it from a friend and was a fan immediately. It met all three main criteria for my putters:

    - I can pick up a ball from the green with the clubhead without bending down,

    - I like the look, and

    - I'm putting very well with it.

I bought one spontaneously and I have had it in the bag for some years now. Two friends tried it later and I almost had to fight to get it back - they liked it, too.

WGT might like the latest part of this love story:

Playing WGT greens with slope grids and whatnots improved my RL putting, and from my latest trip to Scotland - which was initiated in this forum - I brought home a new putter cover with the Carnoustie logo:

I no longer play because of medical issues....

But one bag with a set of Titlest DCI copies (company got sued lol), Driver, 3w, 5w, 3-pw, a Ben Hogan sand wedge and a Ping Karsten putter.

2nd set of irons are Power Bilt with an Asner Finalist wedge.  Hit 'em right and they feel like a hot knife going through butter.  Hit 'em a bit off and it feels like you hit a rock and the shot wildly arcs into rough...lol.

    Nothing remarkable, and quite old.

Driver TM R11 - more forgiving than the one on here - Jealous of the R1 DB!!

Wilson Fat Shaft Irons (2-PW) - old but I know them so well and have tried others but can't part with them and includes a 2I - and actually have a 1I but only use it for driving if my driving is wild.

    3 Calloway Jaw wedges

Old calloway BJ 12 Putter (best putter I have used and will not part with it)

I have several drivers and putters that occasionally get used but basically gather dust in the garage.

I sometimes add the Big Bertha Driver and 3W to my bag  but prefer to use a 2I if my driving is off

Basically my advice for anyone, is to know the limitations of your clubs and yourself, and get to know exactly what the clubs can do and half the battle is won. That is why I primarily stick to what clubs I have.

Now winter is here, I play infrequently - I am a fair weathered golfer, last round was an 82 - like my age, the scores just keep going up lol.

Well I have had various clubs over the years; never the top of the line name brand tho.

I started out at the age of 18 with a few Wilson drivers & woods (back when they were actually still made with wood heads lol). These were left behind at the golf course I worked at. I also had a beginners set of irons ( I think they were Joy or Golf Joy, can't remember, but the blue grips had white stars running down them) I also have a 1970's era Ben Hogan putter with a steel shaft & brass head and a bullseye logo on the head; I love this one. It was also left behind at the course I worked on. I am currently waiting to get a full set of irons (5-PW) from a site I have found & also have purchased from. They are nice knock offs of the name brands. Owned and tried the SW & putter. Still have some of my 80's era clubs as well. can not wait to get back out and enjoy the game for real.

Jealous of those Irons!  I was quite annoyed when TM discontinued them.

A Big Bertha Driver, an old brass putter and 8 assorted irons from a charity shop, mostly Dunlop. Total outlay £10 including bag.
