There have always been anomalies with this game as with any video game. That said, in any other gaming environment, they tend to get ironed out over time. Not so with WGT. Indeed, they seem to only worsen with time.
Today I had a 43 yard approach from the front of #5 at St. Andy's. Lined up the shot to compensate for the wind ... adjusted the swing meter to the right distance .... dinged the shot .... went 27 yards dead right. Not 5 yards ... not 10 yards .... 27 unbelievable yards DEAD RIGHT !!! Fairway, no bumps or lumps just went 27 yards dead right.
I pay alot of money to play this stupid game and I play every single day. I expect and deserve better outcomes to my efforts that something as ridiculous as this.
Time to send the pre-school interns back to RR&R and get some real programmers guys. Otherwise your business is going to evaporate faster than a gallon of gasoline on hot asphalt.
Quite honestly I'm pretty tired of being robbed every single round by some unthinkable circumstance. And please ... don't tell me it's just a game.... Lots of people win lots of prizes on this "game". Poker is just a "game" too. But rob one of those guys like we get robbed out here and there will be much worse consequences than a critical post in the forums.
