I don't mean to disturb this thread but I just wanted to let WGT know that i have laid off from this game for 2 months because of the crap that happens in play. Well today I got 3 new Callaway balls and through two of the most ridiculous situations I lost 2. I know WGT needs to make money but stealing golf balls by altering shots is plain foul play.
I just finished 9 holes on Congressional with a +10 score. For some reason my drives would always go left when I hit the ding with straight 12 mph wind. The so called, "very fast" greens were a joke. They were slow -fast at best but not very fast speed there and causing a lot of bogeys with all 3 of us. I apologized to the 2 newbies for the problems they were having and told them to watch the tutorial videos.
I hoped that things had changed here but I guess someone wants wgt to run in the ground. I tell you when a new person comes in to play this game, they get a lot of forgiveness shots to make them feel good and they never consider the chance of being abused and belittled by a stupid game. But WGT, you have done it. I have to give you the credit, it's all for you and nothing for your customers.
My wife started on the 28th of June to play here and because she watched the videos and played the way she plays on the real golf course 2 times a week and carries a 4 handicap, she made Tour Pro in less then a month. Then things went way wrong and she isn't as vocal as I am so she only told me. I told her thats wgt's way of slowing you down so you do get bored by doing the same thing all the time. She was ok with that for a while, then the *** hit the fan when her shots started to go wrong, her putts were way short, she spent more time in the rough then on the fairway. So we decided to close the account. Now she had a lot of friends that gave her equipment and balls and she asked that they be transfered to me since i was coming back. i haven't heard a word from WGT on what there going to do. It's for the board to decide. She had a R11 Driver and 3 wood, 2 Cleveland Wedges,a set of Rocketbladez irons and Callaway balls. What happens to that equipment? i would sure like to know and i'm sure the people who gave her that would like to know as well. So i close with total disgust about what is happening to this game. Guess no one cares.
