My golf is improving all of a sudden ,and I like it !

But I'm afraid to be moved up.I read the forum a lot and I hear of players being moved up to legend just by beating one in a match play.

How can I compete with higher tiers without being afraid to be leveled up.

Missing a putt on purpose on the last hole to lose a match is not my cup of tea.

I'm still playing with a lot of starter equipment.Thank you.

not gonna talk you into getting better if you don't want to,
    let someone else do that.

I'll tell you how you can stay a master for ever
if that's what you're really after.

don't play ranked rounds, simple as that.
only play A/S, skins or matchplay with another master or below
you can also play practice rounds and uneven lie tournaments.

once you hit 63 on your average you'll move to
the tour master tier, so.. "watch out" I guess..

g gave you the perfect answer. If Master is your goal then enjoy. The tips are a hoot and like a whole new game. The choice is yours. I started winning a lot of matches when I made TM. I did not hold back at all but it took me forever to make Legend. I really don't think I would want to shoot from any other tees. I play a lot of single holes and have to shoot from the kiddie tees and it is a joke. Again the choice is yours. Get what ever you want  from your time on WGT. Don't let any one call you a bagger or whatever, just do your thing. Now if you bag long enough and start taking credits from people all bets are off. If you want to stay a Master then leave other peoples credits alone. Again, just a little advice from Squirrel Nutz.

You wont change tees again , until you reach Legend . Masters and Tour Masters , play from the same tees . The only change , will be the green speed .As you tier up the greens will get quicker . So you can move up , one more tier to Tour Master , and play from the same tees that you are on. Its not bad playing from the tips . Just make sure that you upgrade your clubs properly , and nows the time to start doing so .

Three details to safely stay a Master:

    - never play a ranked round below 32 / 6364, and

    - never win a match against a TM oder Legend, and

    - never win any credits in strokeplay.

Edit: Had to change the number, because 63s lead to a 63 average => boom.

Yep as simple as that. Normally I would advise people to tier up and stop bagging lol, that said some people like the OP do not play for credits and purely plays for fun and is a genuine socialplayer, without having equipment advantages (high level clubs/low tier), just enjoy the game for what it is, a game.

    hyena64:

Edit:      The very next round I played, I moved up.   Oh well, been playing these greens mostly anyway.  Been here so long, guess I just got sentimental.    LOL         :-)

Bugger now I can't say you High level sandbagging #$%^ LOL

Congrats on the move and the new greens. And perhaps if you were milking credits then I would mean the above, genuine social players are just that, and usually a lot of fun to play with.
