  I wish you all the best Jon. You've made a big impact in your short time here and will be remembered as 1 of the greats. Thanks for the tips you've shared with us. They've certainly helped a few of us out. Good luck with the real golf mate. Hope to see you on my TV screen soon :)

  LOL seriously? he's 1 of the games top players,who has decided that there are more important things in his life.I would say you post was spot on if it was a newbie who hasn't given this game a chance,or are not any good at it.But that's simply not the case is it?

   I'm sorry to see you go John,we've had some good games over on WGTLS and i've had some thrashings from ya aswell lol.Still  a sterling effort in the US Open though.

  Fair enough, so why comment on this at all. As you said you don't know him, so rather than put a snide comment, why not just read it and move on?

  Great job in the open, I know how hard those rounds were and the frustration levels were over the top.

  Would of been funny if you did because we've played almost the same amount of stroke play games and match plays and I've been on the site 2 more years than you.

  Anyway thanks for all the nice responses. I will probably pop in every once and awhile still to get a game with friends. Might have to get therapy trying to go cold turkey...lol
