just reached lvl 90, im playing with lvl 79 burner 2.0's, is it worth upgrading to R11's or wait for something new to come out.(if something new and better came out, would probably be lvl 95+ and out of my jurisdiction ) . The real question is, the forgiveness, is it that much more forgiving? the one extra half dot? ive played with rocketblades...free rental, and they   play just the same as with my burners, didn't notice too much difference in meter speed. guessing R11's wont be a huge improvement, just looking for forgiveness is all, with my iffy meter.. any input would be much appreciated. thanks

Easy choice...buy the R11s. Can't see WGT bringing out a better set anytime soon...

I had the Burners before the R11s and that extra forgiveness is worth the price alone, as is the 3i !!

LOL. That didn't take long, see you have them. Good move and what you'll notice right away is the difference in the 3, 4 and 5 irons on approach. They're the game changers in that set because compared to the Burners, you now have much better stopping power on those long approaches. Have fun with the lower distance to pin.  :-)

Even compared to the Bladez they edge it I think, never had the burners myself.  3iron distance as said above v handy to.

you guys aren't making it very easy for me to boycott WGT and not spend money. I have the bladez and want the R11's but giving WGT 30 bucks just irks me right now

    :P

cheers guys , and yea waste of time posting this in the forum i got them anyway haha, ants in my pants, and they seem good, meter feels slower, must be just me, and forgiveness is pretty good, just have to get used to long irons stopping quicker. left a couple shots short that would have rolled a couple of yds with burners. thanks heaps.

LOL well the R11s are great, but the bladez are not that far behind. Come down to how long you want to play for, and how often. The way I feel about the game at the moment, is I wish I never had upgraded from the starters clubs.

I would suck with the starters, I suck with the R11s, just I wouldnly have spent any money lol.

the R11's are the best irons no doubt .. however, i prefer playin' with the Bladez after switching back to them about week ago .. i just realized that IMO, the difference in stopping power on the 3 & 4 irons between the 2 sets aren't that much different .. the R11 3 & 4 iron has got an edge yes, but not by too much i've found using full backspin on both

I agree & with the 3 & 4 iron I just move my arrow back 3 yards towards my ball & allow it to roll. Works most times.
