Wife and I are having lunch after the flea market. BIG screen tv with the open on. I'm watching all through lunch explaining things to her about the game. We get to the car and she said to me " It looks like they are playing in a cow pasture." Laughed all the way home. She wanted to know what was so funny......I had no explanation.
Woods and Westwood in a play off. Tiger wins it on the second playoff hole.
So you all think there is only 2 guys that can win this.
LOLserver: Muirfield fairways are so bloody dry that 90% of the players hits the 3 irons from the tee on 5 par holes to see their ball running 60-80 yards longer on the fairway. There is no back spin at all...damn not even on chips or short wedges shots. Pros are only trying to find green in the approach...no matter where the balls ends and crossing their fingers the ball remains on green.

Perhaps wgt could take note and introduce a no spin policy when we play St Andrews......long live the " bump n run "....
proper golf !!!

They were hitting 260 yrds with 5 Irons.....lol
Tiger looks good, but watching him ... he looks a bit fragile at the moment... Westwood looks better after the 3rd round..... even Scott has a chance at Par

Perhaps it is just me, but I think Tiger (I'm not a Tiger fan btw) has a bigger advantage over the guys at the top because he is hitting great with the long irons and as you can see, balls are "rolling" on the greens and not dropping as in all other Opens. (MURFIELD 2013 = SUPER DRY LINKS COURSE). So Tiger might as well find more greens then the rest.
Tiger will not carry a driver but instead another wedge or rescuer.

No mate, but Westwood is the only player I've got money on.... who can win it ! It's purely selfish, I know.
I hope Westood wins, but don't forget Scott, he just missed out last year Nobody seems to be mentioning Hunter. He's in the last group, just two behind.
The wind could get up this afternoon. That would make things interesting.
Come on Lee.
OK ... HERE WEEEEEEEEE GO !!
