This player's name wouldn't have any No. 5's in it, would it? Impressive scores, although that 61 at St. Andrews was a really crappy score ;-). Who knows, maybe he's just that good. And those legend RG's are rarely being played from the tips, so 57's shouldn't be that difficult on a regular basis. And he did play twice as many rounds in 6 months as I did in a year and a half. But the only thing I know for sure is that we'll never know whether these scores are legit or not. If they are, hat's off. And if they're not, well, I would just find it pathetic. No point in playing that way.

That gives a whole new perspective, i fully understand that.  But Its the consistency which is my key point.  With every low scoring ready go, next time i enter the same 1, (or sometimes any different 1) i will always get deviation effected rounds.  Take master tee ready go, i scored 55 or 54 (cant remember) but next time i entered the back 9 was so full of WTF shots i only managed -4 FROM MASTER TEES. Its happening to me and most others but i never see a WD or strugle in same ready go from the messiah.

Its got to the stage i'm starting to play more poker than golf (sad but true)

I alluded to this player in another thread about a week ago. At that time, this player had won 10 of the last eleven RG's (with one 2nd place finish) and 16 of the last 20 they'd played. First noticed the name about a month and half or so ago. Always the last player to post a score in every RG played, and a vast majority of the wins are by two strokes. Not a single WD that I could find looking through results. It's truly just comically blatant. As long as this player (or should I say this username?) remains I refuse to play RG's. NO honest player is that consistent. Period.

Thanks for bringing this up Chris.

The most intriguing thing is that this incredibly consistent player did not make a single attempt at qualifying for the Open. Possibly because those scores are scrutinized...?

Maybe because they were already qualified. Lol.

Yes in the "hacking thread but was certainly not the first time this player had raised eyebrows.

I think Gerald has answered this lol. But how are the scores scutinized? And if the VUS Open scores are treated differently, why? If WGT has the ability scrutinize a score then this should be done for ALL RGS and free tournaments.

The old saying, if something seems too good to be true, then it probably is.

That player's history used to show dozens of 18-0 skins wins.  There were 36 in one day!

That's either a blatant case of multi-account seeding or a black market credit buy.  Either is grounds for termination.  Reported it.  No response.

It's been said by the mods that the scores from the big tournaments are 'verified' before prizes are paid out. Ready-Go's pay immediately after completion.

I agree.... but, nobody is going to want to wait to collect their prize from a RG. The weekly free tourneys already take a handful of days to pay out because of the time involved in 'verifying' scores.

It's disgusting that people feel they can be so obvious when it comes to this garbage, knowing the site is doing nothing to combat it.

Yes I have seen this but maybe I am cynical, but I doubt anything is actually verified. But if they are, then this "verification" should be across the board, and in fairness to all, then we will just have to wait longer for a payout. No people will not want to wait, but they would have no option - just state this in the T&C of Entry.

But probably the most obvious fact is, why have so many of the community seen this, reported this and nothing happens.

If I look for half an hour I will find at least 5 cases of multi-accounters, and that is primarily looking at the top players from lower tiers in RGs and free tournies. If I find them that easily, why the hell are WGT not doing it - ie being proactive/

Now this player is not only a multi, but a 5 times a packet multi.

WGT need to start flagging all players who suddenly do well, or burst onto the scene making quick money. And then audit those accounts and gifting. That also goes for skins and and credit matches, where it is easy to dropa bundle after a pay pal account transaction to get money out.

As much as I like this game the blantant abuses that take place are driving players like me away.
