Yup when all is said and done..we'll either buy the new ball or find something else that fits are needs. SIgh.. but I do like what I have now even if it's a little pricey for my taste.. Who knows it may work out better for us Callaway users??
LOL

Sorry for the confusion, everyone! Today -- 7/30 -- is the last day to get the existing Callaway Tour i(s) and Callaway Tour i(z) balls in the Pro Shop.
As of 7/31, these will be replaced with the new Callaway Chrome HEX balls.
thanks for that, i can sleep easy now!!
Same stats as previous balls, not really an upgrade is it?

My question is , why putt out a new ball with no improvements? Makes no sense. I mean not 1/2 a dot more on anything.
Oh My

One could reasonably have expected an extra half dot somewhere, given that the real life ball is supposed to be better. I guess that would have meant a price rise though.
Much ado about nothing really.
The dots on the ball specification is IMHO just a rough guide to their performance, I very much doubt that say for example spin is calculated in the form 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 ... etc.
They changed the coding for the name, nothing more, let's move on.
