  Thanks for the info WGTwilcat ...... I use Nikes , but i will get a couple sleeves of Calls has back up before the 31 . :) Frapp

  Thanks Wildcat for the heads up....   at least Wgt didn't go out there and do it without our knowledge.

  As you can tell Wgt,  from the previous posts....  Moral of your members are very low and everything you do now will tell us that you are upto something sinister.

  It's never too late to change the way we all think about Wgt.... This still is a great game, but starting to get a bit smelly.

  The Max's have the same specs as the Call z's  apart from feel....  are they going to change aswell... if the new ball has different specs.

  This makes me VERY nervous! I am one of the huge number of players who use the Calloway i(s) balls, and I've used them for a long time. All my clubs are rated using these balls with all the different shots available, with no spin, top spin and backspin, to do this I hit the ball on a relatively flat fairway in two opposing directions with low wind and average the distance. This means a LOT of hits lets say 13 clubs, just 4 different shots, full, punch, pitch and flop, so

  13 x 2 (opposing directions) x3 (different spin) x 4 (shots) = 312 shots.

  That's a lot of balls and time to waste if the distances change!

  Good post Roger. I share similar sentiments.

  I'm trying to understand what all the hub bub is about the coming Callaway golf balls.

  WGTwildcat:

  Next week, WGT is upgrading all the Callaway Tour i(s) and Callaway Tour i(z) balls to the latest Callaway HEX Chrome and Callaway Hex Chrome+ balls.

  Because the Callaway balls are so popular among top WGT players, there will be no change in price. The balls will have very similar performance and some will even unlock a level or two earlier than they do now.

  Looks like they'll just get a shiny new coat to me. Am I missing something here?

  Some of the posts suggest the new Callaway golf balls may out perform the game.

  And seeing these golf balls unlock a few levels lower than before suggest WGT is making the game easier to play.

  My big question would be, how long will it be before they downgrade everthing sold in the pro shop? Been there, got downgraded. Buyer beware. What you buy for performance today, may not perform tomorrow. I would welcome any comments from WGT that may reinstate consumer confidence in their purchases. WGT, would you care to comment , or just continue to ignore legitimate requests from paying customers ?

  same here john. it is the only ball I have used for the longest time and sure hope the replacement isn't too different.
