Wow? I was saving to get a set of irons at lvl 48, but I now notice that after the downtime, all Rapture clubs are gone?

Seems max irons lvl 47 has replaced them. Stats are the same or at least very similar.

I guess they were too good. It seems if WGT finds that certain clubs work too well for their cost, they don't last long.

My beloved lvl 47 Rapture 3WD is gone, too - glad I still have mine!
(dreaming of the 320+ yds longest drive...)

Another possible reason for their discontinuation might be that they are no longer in Ping's product line. No more sales promotion, no more money from the client - clear the space in the racks!

I suspect the same for the Callies.

Yeah , but beware the lvl 45+ max irons , as you will need a ball with a whole lot of feel to slow them down . Either that or the reflexes of a rattle snake . And once again , the lower level players , get the goods. Back to ball replacement again.

You sure about that?  By the looks of the meter speed in the Pro Shop the Max lvl45 irons are slower than the G20s.

So says a level 94 player who still uses L81 clubs and forgoes the better clubs available to him.  Jeez why b*tch about it?  C'mon there are 3 drivers you could own.  Lots more examples of stuff unlocked for you.   So even if WGT did offer clubs for higher level players, history says you wouldn't buy them anywho!

The lvl 23+ & 47+ , have the slower meters, but the lvl 45+ looks faster than the Rll`s . I dont like the faster meters , which is why I play the G20s . I have rented the Rll irons , and didnt like them . Also since I m a casual player , and I dont play for credits , the clubs I use , suit me just fine . Also, I`m not spending 250+ credits on balls , just to slow the meter down, as it would be a waste of credits. Further more there are only 2drivers available to me, the Rlls lvl90+ , and the lvl 93+ R1 .Although I do like the R1, not at that price . I dont care if its a limited edition .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    But it seems that every update, all of the new clubs are at the lower levels . As for what I would buy , I`ll buy what I want , and it wont be to please you .  So play your game and let me play mine .

No, I included the L88 R11.  That makes three.

And your explanation makes my point.  Why b*tch about not getting something you ain't gonna buy anyway?

No my explanation , proves my point . Why would I buy clubs with faster meters , when I dont want clubs with a faster meter ? Also the lvl 88+R11 only avg.s 2 more yards than the 81+ G20 . So instead of trying to berate me , this is what you do. Go to the pro shop , and pick out the clubs , you feel that I should have at my level . Then gift them to me . Also include a couple of sleeves of balls to slow the meter down. You get to pay the cost to be my boss . Now put up or shut up . Happy Swinging :-)  PS, you are a lousy WGT sales rep , so turn in your card..

L59 G20s remain the best to wait for.  Those new Max irons probably fill the gap just fine for those who do not want to wait, but you will be thinking upgrade sooner same as with the Raptures.  Can't get away from the fact that the L59 G20s are the first high trajectory set!

I wager the Max alternative may be gone as soon as WGT persuade some one to allow something not MAX back in that spot........
