  anyone have time to tell me the distances on these clubs?

  wanted to buy them but not sure about the gap from the PW(125) to my 100yrd cleveland wedge and I wanted to go with the 100yd/80yd/60yd wedges unless the blades bring the 115 into play...

  I have the setup your referring to and there is a gap between the PW @125yds and 56 degree wedge 100yds. I usually use Callaway 33 balls which with full top spin applied will take your 56 wedge out to 106 yds. Then you have the PW punch @ 108yds, but with full top spin will go out to 114 yds or so on a fairly level slope.  So, you can cover the gap pretty well unless you have an upward slope that doesn't allow the PW punch to roll out

  1. 4 iron = 205
  2. 5 iron = 190
  3. 6 iron = 175
  4. 7 iron = 160
  5. 8 iron = 145
  6. 9 iron = 135

  i was thinking about holding out for the L83 pings 110-215yrds because the PW is right on with the cleveland wedges w/ an extra 5yds on the 3 iron because the pings i have now seem to be perfect for most tournament par 3s but a 220 3i eliminates the rescue clubs and is probably a lot more accurate than a rescue club...I also like the fact that the swing speed is same as wedges even if i have to get a slower meter ball...

  what are the other distances 4-9i?

  2. 4 iron = 205
  3. 5 iron = 190
  4. 6 iron = 175
  5. 7 iron = 160
  6. 8 iron = 145
  7. 9 iron = 135

  Numbers are full shot & punch in that order:

  4-iron: 205, 189

  5-iron: 190, 171

  6-iron: 175, 157

  7-iron: 160, 143

  8-iron: 145, 130

  9-iron: 135, 120

  PW: 125, 108

  I used the 100, 80, 60 Cleveland wedges. The PW punch, or choking down one avatar movement on a full PW shot, covered the gap nicely.

  The RocketBladez are excellent irons, lots of spin even with the Srixon balls.

  Thanks a ton to both of you I really appreciate it! I am a little afraid of the punch shots with my clubs because I can't control the roll, even with full backspin mine run out several yards...hopefully the extra spin on the rockets will make it easier to control...

  Get the Bladz ...very lovely irons. Very similar to the R-11.

  With the ball your using and the Bladez you'll be able to back spin your 60 yd wedge using punch and or stop it dead or back spin slightly your 80 yd wedge using punch, and have very little to 4, 5, or 6 yds of roll out with the PW punch depending on the spin you apply.

  I can tell you that given no wind and flat terrain, the rated distance equals full backspin on a L33ish Callaway i(z) ball.  You can start there and fine tune a little more.  But, if it says 125, pull your wedge and apply full spin and it will go damned near 125.
