Hate to bring this up again but I am just sooooo annoyed, gotta get it off my chest. Fairly new Callaway, blitz game at Congressional 2. Meter jumps on me at 1st. hole [bummer, but something we learn to live with]. Ball goes forward about 10 yards from tee and is deemed lost ? Now I do know WGT claim if the ball is outside "parameters" of software it is "lost". Why then, a few times on last hole of a blitz, I've just tapped the ball with a putter [game is won since my score is more than opponent who has already played]. Done this so I have no chance of losing ball on a meaningless shot. These have never been deemed lost? The bragging about being the most realistic golf simulation game is somewhat hollow when a ball travels a few yards from the tee and is "lost".Realistic ? I don't think so!!

What do you do at your end to limit the meter problems? Serious question.

I haven't found an answer to meter "jump" that is the sudden speed-up just as I'm about to click. Thankfully it is [ for me ] quite rare. When the meter is just a little bit "jittery" I sometimes do a "practice" swing [ let the meter run through once before playing a shot ].

Really, I struggled to find anyway to post anywhere else ? This is the only section where I found a "new post" button if that's what you can call it. Advice on how and where to post would be much appreciated.

    I always suggest,

    1) Give your PC a good clear out of all old unused junk, then defrag and disc scan.

    2) Experiment with different browsers, a lot of people on here now use either Maxthon 3 or Comodo Dragon. Chrome and IE seem to cause problems for MOST people that use them on here.

    3) Download Game Booster and 360 Amigo. Both free, and run before each game.

    4) Close all other windows when playing, even WGT pages.

    5) Clear caches regularly especially after an update like we had on Tues/Weds.

    6) Hold at top of backswing for a few seconds to allow the CPU to settle.

I find those things help but any game based on Flash will never be perfect. I hope that helps.

If you click on any of the forum titles, ie. Bug Log, Courses etc. you should see a Write new post button.

inadvertant sudden meter jumps can be attributed to an auto update for a software program activating during your swing, especially anti virus software..I suggest making sure all auto updates are turned off prior to playing. I shut off mine and that ended that problem.
