go buy the k15's or maxs before you speak. I just recommended the k15's to another player instead of the g20's and he hit a 5 iron into the hole. If you think the g20's are good. then the k15's and maxs will be godly

Can do that with a hickory stick.  Getting close often is the hard bit.

G20s all day every day  - they have served many well. By all means look at different set's, but if wanted to stick an elevated green the high trajectory G20 would be my choice! In the long run they stay relevant longer to as said before...Not being able to control a faster meter is a very short term solution - you will need to eventually if you want to compete well!

get the level 48 maxs with the forgiveness. the g20's aren't very accurate unless you can ding every shot. the maxes will be on point every time if you know your ranges and can keep it close to the white line on the meter. they should last you till level 80 g20's

Save your credits , and slow your roll . Take your time and learn the game . You`ll be glad that you did.

So true.  I'm glad I knew nothing about RG's when I started playing.  I lvl'ed up the slower way.  I feel for some of these Legends who are bumped up at lvl 70-80 before they have time to atleast get the high lvl Pings.  Many of them end up just quitting.

People good enough to get a low average (or just unlucky or don't know these days and beat a paper legend) should be in a new tier IMO that allows them to compete against similar pilgrim's. The suggestion assume's critical mass which is guess work from me.

I have had the R-11's and G-20's(lower level)

R-11 are medium trajectory ball flight and no matter what ball you use they won't hold the green with long iron on a tight green...

G-20's are high trajectory and will hold most greens but not all...good set, accurate, my 6 iron was way off and unpredictable but nice set, better than the r11 irons by far...

Just took my G20's out of play tonight when I bought the bladez.

Roger, this is just my opinion but I believe if it was me asking for advice I would listen to the people who have been here the longest and seem to have done well with the game. The rlls are the BEST irons on wgt Period. That is, if you can get pretty close to the ding. On shots with win you won't to missed the ding on the wind side anyway. The g 20 have a slower meter but they will not hold elevated green like the rlls. Also, fatdan is refering to the lower lvl rlls not the upper lvl. Again, if you can stand the meter get the rll. If not  get the g20 at lvl 80 and be content. Happy Hitting.

I looked at you set-up...as your still a pro at level 55 get the R-1(level 48) driver, it says 275 yd avg but that would be your worst drives if you move up to a srixon ball, more like 285 to 310yds, it is consistantly 25-30 yds longer than the 1 ur using now....then get another wedge and lose the hybrid...thats all you will need from those tee's because you will only be using your irons on par 3's, don't waste ur money on lower level R-11 irons, get the G-20 set at level 58 and prepare for the longer tee boxes at master level because you won't be on the pro/tour pro tee's very long.

sounds like good advice, I take it you've been here longer perhaps under another account??? I just invested in the drivers/woods/wedges so my next purchase is going to be clubs. I'm leaning to the G20's now because of overwhelmingly advice from all the more experienced members. I figure the new driver will be in my next tier ranking.

    thanx for all the advice!

I bought the r11's last night, much more accurate than the g20's. and they stick to tournament greens like glue.... why is everyone here so adamant about talking without knowing what they are talking about..

k15's are still better than the low level g20's
