  Hi,

   

  Any news on whether WGT will introduce the G25 iron set?

  Been waiting for them as well . So far no word , but then the question will be at what levels? But one thing for sure , if they do come, they will be better than the R11 irons , and the R11s driver as well . I have been waiting now through the last 4-5 updates . Sitting on over 6k in credits , and still waiting . I sure hope its done soon . Happy Swinging

  What makes you think that?

  Unless maybe the lower level...possibly, but no reason to make the game easier for level 90+ players I'd think.

  Because they will be newer clubs . The clubs dont make it easier , your skills do . You can play with starters , and take the average Legend apart . The majority of the top players , are top players because they are great putters . So unless they are put at the lower levels , they will have to be either better than or equal to the top clubs. Otherwise it wouldnt make sense .  Oh yeah this is WGT , where nothing makes sense , not even me sometimes. Happy Swinging

  level 65, give it 4 forgiveness and a 3.5 precision with High trajectory with 3 spin
  or a med/high trajectory with 3.5 spin. for 2500

  IMO no way should the game be  easier than already is with the L90 irons and the L94 R11S / top R1 are also as good as any driver should get for this game.........Personally I would not be waiting for it either............

  Now I would say that also personally the R11S should be down to say L92 and the R1 L94 tops all permanently.  Drivers may help the odd eagle, but the real scoring is the approach, and so all the current system really does is make MP & A/S less fun with friends for too long....Talking just Legend+ and getting off topic....

  To an extent only I think.  Better player's can take full advantage of better equipment, and iron wise WGT do a good sim of RL IMO. The last thing we want here is a slow meter L90 (called G25) set performing as well as the existing L90 R11 irons.  Now that would make the game easier simple as! With all that in mind I have nothing against a G25 iron set, just struggle to see how it could be introduced in any meaningful for the higher levels with the Bladez / L90Rs around already.   

  Arguably the G20 irons were as good as it should have got already.  The G20 driver is excellent with the R11 driver capable of slightly more (having had it that's what the R11 was for me), but with risk reward.

  Agreed and often said but IMO oversimplifies as their distance to pin / general short game is not usually too shabby either, and that needs to also be remembered.....

  i stay still say they can intro new iron sets above lvl 90, as long as their attributes aren't better than the R11's necessarily, but with varying attributes that give more options at higher levels .. & +1 on the drivers

  Personally , I think any new clubs introduced now , will be placed in the nice little money earning pocket they've created for the new Tour Masters and Legends below the level 90's and not quite as good as the R11's, R11S or indeed the upper level R1.

  I think now to reach these ranks it as become easier and players are getting there quicker, install new clubs here and they will be bought in the masses,  and still they'll probably buy the higher level clubs when they reach that level.

  Marketing team at WGT, as stated before by myself are doing a fantastic job.

  my tuppence worth anyways.

  But that wouldnt make sense . You look at the 93+ R1 driver , it is a little better than the 94+ R11s . In real life, why would you buy a new club of any kind , if it didnt perform better than the older existing clubs . Even if they do introduce the new G25s , to replace the G20s ,if they dont perform better than what is already available , it would be a waste. They would have to at least perform better than the G20s, which run a close 2nd to the R11 irons and R11s driver . Even if it comes down to that,, it would be worth the investment . Happy Swinging :-)
