You can get twice the XP for playing in the free tournaments.  There are more free unlimited plays available now than I've ever seen at one time, with the Michelin, Best of 5s, Golf Holiday, Oakmont F9 and Leadbetter in addition to the regular weeklies and monthlies.

You also should play more than just Kiawah and St. Andrews.  That will benefit you much more in the long run than having a longer driver for a few weeks.

I also detect an attitude, you are  a legend on a computer game, not in the real world, I asked a reasonable question as to why longer drivers were not available at lower levels, you seem to think that only a select few should have access to them, I notice from your other posts, that you don't believe other people can have a different opinion to yourself, also you are complaining that you don't have any further choice of clubs etc just to aspire to new balls.Other people have said you are a bully, and it shows in your I am better than you attitude, get a life and get on a real golf course ,and see if you can produce the goods then.I thought this forum was designed to help people, in your case you seem to want to put the lower levels in their place. This will be my 4th and final post on here as unfortunately there are too many people like you who can't discuss a topic only cast aspersions.

I'm confused.  Is this a reply to me?  It seems that way as it's right after my reply.

I've felt clubs should be tier based for a while but it's just the way it is.  I've had to deal with my weak driver and irons in ready go's, missing birdie or eagle chances on many holes while others can drive them in 2 including par 5's.  It's just the way it is and while it sucks, it should hopefully make things slightly easier for me once I do get all the best equipment.

No, I think it's for Lonnie.

To the OP, if you're really desperate to get a longer driver and don't mind using credits to do it you could do as Alosso suggested and buy bars to increase your level.  Personally I hate the things, they seem like a sandbagger's dream but since you appear to be playing better than your level then they might be an option.  Albeit an expensive one.

MainzMan is quite right, it was directed at Lonnie, and I thank him for that, and his thoughtful answer, and also to PBaldwin for his accurate observation, I guess I will just have to put up with the situation, as I do enjoy the game, and this is definitely my last post on the subject, thanks to all who bothered to read what I posted, and good luck.

If you are directing this too me , then you are all wrong . The advice that I was trying to give you , was to help you . Its not my intention to berate nor belittle you , in any way. The club selections , are not under my control , but WGTs . As for the choice of clubs available to me , those that are, I dont prefer . Which is why I wont waste credits on buying them . As for my being better than  you , I dont know you to say that , nor do I feel that . I have though been playing longer than you , and was trying to help you , as others in this game , have helped me..                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            At 52 years old , I can say that my life is blessed and I really dont have a care . Also I used to work on a golf course , which is when I truly learned the game , and even helped develop a few courses . So having said all of that , I will also say this . For whatever I said to you, in my reply post to you in this thread , has hurt your feelings , or caused you to feel disrespected . Then for that I do apologize , and am sorry if I offended you . Good luck with your game. Happy Swinging :-)

Clubs should be tier based.  I got tired of running into low level players with drivers that go further than mine and have the same irons as I do.  My solution is to just use free balls and play one ctth per day.

I used to spend money on balls each month, but until I have access to the same clubs as others no thanks.

That would also prevent people from not even trying to tier up until they are level 90 and can actually get good clubs.

this whole system turned garbage when they added levels. I was a TM at level 30 and like OP said, you can't even play the game anymore. Now I'm doing the opposite and players cry all day about how i'm better than them because I'm at a lower tier. it's a lose lose situation until you are level 90 and can actually use good clubs to compete

Agree with you there. Once you make legend everything should be unlocked.
