  Must admit haven't seen it yet myself, but my imagination is extremely good & active. Also will say that based on that imagination I would have thought the same straight away, but did you ever think that maybe he was a deer in the headlights being it was his first major? 

  Just playing devil's advocate & trying to put myself in his shoes, as is proper in such situations.                :-)

  That said, a smile never hurt anyone...

  he did play superb golf today,
  which makes it even more annoying
  cause it's so hard to relate to someone
  who has the same glassy eyed look all the time...

  Hardly a desirable smile there Zio. Dufner looks like he's forcing himself to smile in those pictures.

  I have to agree with GM to an extent. No public figure should go around looking unengaged and/or self absorbed.

  Maybe that even keel is one of the things that helped get him through the pressure.  I feel good for the guy and wish him continued success.

  I'm not sure I understand what Jason's lack of expression has to do with the golfin? I tune in for the shots, awesome approach shots that Dufner made for instance.

  It took Dufner many years of agonizing practice and competition to get to this win.  I think he appreciates this win more than anyone could. Just a real difference of opinion with me on this.

  Dufner's peers all say that Jason's the funniest guy they know. The easiest going guy on tour. Absolutely no pric k in my opinion either. Way the hell out of line too.

  Geez.. apparently smiling infront of the camera is a must? If you want to focus on duffner, dont focus on something thats not important, like smiling. Focus on his game play, his ways of approaching the greens etc. It's his face, he can smile if he wants, he doesnt need to impressive anyone, he already has a smoking wife even if she "may" be a gold digger

  well I like the guy and his demeanor - he's one of a kind and couldn't care less if we don't understand him.  Way to go Jason - he's liked by his peers, he's liked by fans - not in a i the typical "I love you cuz you're the best" kinda way - don't begrudge the guy for who he his - how the heck do we know.  I'd take one Jason Dufner personality than a smug and angry Tiger Woods any day of the week.

  Congrats Man!! I'm a fan more now than I was on Wednesday for sure

  I agree with Bubba.  So what if Dufner's not photogenic, doesn't have charisma...I'll take his persona over Mickelson's phony "aw shucks" attitude any day.  At least JD is real.
