where is my PLAY NOW option

  I still have my "play now" button, just finished a tourney, all is fine. EXCEPT I cannot buy any of the new Hex balls, I'm down to my last 1.

  Has nothing to do with that this time, it's site-wide.

  I updated my Java, as recommended, and everything is back to normal now.

  I have to go to any other page to get my Play Now Button when I first log on (usually the forum).

  Yes , I was experiencing problems yesterday and it appears there is a JAVA update out to fix issues .

  It looks like there was an issue with a server.  The problems has been fixed and shouldn't be any issues anymore.
