I played CCC hole 11 yest for the 1st time in a long time, and after hittin my approach my immediate reaction was "wow, how fast was that meter"

i had 4 mph right to left wind, so I didnt move my marker hoping for the ball to go little left and then let the slope of green take it towards hole.

Well after somehow dingin it, it still went way right of pin, just barely missin the water.

I don't think it's coincidence I just think that WGT like to test our nerve and patience at times..all part of golf i suppose

Happens all the time, I have lost numerous balls during a good round, because of this water phenomenon, especially #14 at RSG.

    It sucks big time.

At least on #14 @ RSG you can still get a par or even a  birdie if you make a good approach shot and make the putt.

Wow how did you ever cope with the loss? 6 balls in a year?

Was it really worth a thread ?Try double wrapped baco-foil, I've heard that keeps the balls from getting wet.

It has occurred to me on no less than 6 occasions in the last year that I've lost a ball on ONE particular hole.....long par 4 at Congressional with the "pond" to the right of the green.

If that is all you lost in one year, God bless you!

As stated in the other posts, we all have issues with that hole. Dang, when it first came out, I would drop 6 balls a week on that hole.

Grin and bear it my friend.

    Indeed Daddie.

We should suggest to WGT to offer a sleeve of something anytime we reach 100 balls on water target, something similar to the Tin in the Drink award. We deserve this, we didn't drop Nikes' on trees.

    Think about a balls tree
Like those game where You drop vegetables to reach money.

    Lot of laughs.

It is a well-known scientific fact that water attracts golf balls.

The home of golf certainly does not have any creeks, Now if you are talking about the WORLD famous Swilkin Burn....
