September 1st Forum Challenge

This is just the update to the original post. Some more information and how the scoring will work.

- First tournament will start September 1st and end on the 7th. Second tournament will begin on Sunday the 8th.

- Single Play

- Each week will be a different course with different conditions and/or twists. There was going to be a week with uneven lies but I want to hear what players think about this. I know for some it can be daunting and for others a fun challenge.

- Tournaments will run through the tournament section! So no screen shots of score cards

- There will be a Long Drive and CTTH which will require posting of replays in the forum thread. Every Friday I will post the two holes the long drive and CTTH will take place on as well as the distance requirements for the Long Drive.

- There will be a 10 credit entry fee to the tournaments

- There will be weekly winners as well as a final winner, overall long drive winner, and a overall CCTH winner.

- The winning player will be the one who has the highest credits/points earned. Credits/points will be awarded to the top 100 places in the tournament.

1st place - 150 credits

2nd place - 125 credits

3rd place - 100 credits

4th place - 75 credits

5th place - 50 credits

6th thru 10th place - 25 credits

11th thru 50th place - 10 credits

51st thru 100th place 5 credits

Long Drive - 100 credits

CTTH - 100 credits

This award system should allow players to maybe not come in 1st place but still have a chance to win. If all goes well with this, this will be an ongoing thing with longer tournaments.

Looks great Shoe. Personally i'd like to see the odd uneven lie round in this but not sure others would feel the same.

Could we leave the uneven lies play to a tournament of it's own? I feel a need to clean out my replay section for new stuff & brush up on how to post a replay in the forum ( I think many of us have never done it). Good luck E1 & looking forward to the competition. This looks like something interesting for the players at last , well done Shoe mate, but me personally NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! to uneven lies PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSEEEE ;-)

Could we leave the uneven lies play to a tournament of it's own?

We can definitely keep it to a different tournament. This is why I wanted player feedback. This is really for all of you so won't put anything in that most players don't want.

As for the replay, if you have an issue posting in the forums just post the name of the replay that you have saved and I can find it on your profile page.
