I was wondering if anyone knew why the shot-shaping rating is given for the clubs. THe reason I ask is that every club (drivers, irons, wedges, hybrids....) has one-half circle for the rating. Any thoughts or explanations would be appreciated. I feel like there is something I am not understanding.....

Shot shaping is an art in itself. I use it from time to time. I need to learn it more though. Never bought a club cause of it's shot shaping ability. Just for there distance.

WGT have said that they hope to implement a shot shaping system in the future. I guess that's why it's there and all clubs will be rated the same until it is brought in.
