I was going through the pro shop ,and thinking about upgrading to another ball . So while looking at the Callys , I noticed that the Cally balls for Legends , have a shorter durability , than the regular balls . So does anyone have any idea why this is so ? Just wondering . Happy Swinging :-)

I think they just kept the same attributes from when they were the top balls.

It's what you pay for the 1/2 dot distance extra. Not even close to worth it, IMO, the cheapest one is more than enough.  :-)

I use the WGT Legend balls...half the price and the same distance as the Callaways. I was a Callaway user myself for along time and to be honest I don't see the difference in distance at all. The only difference i'm seeing is lack of spin once in awhile on pitchshots. I get about 45 holes outta one ball

Take another look. The durability makes the Callaway a better value PLUS you get more spin.

The new cally's are real close to the original.I played the lvl,34 i s calls.now I play the replacement calls..Now ,for the 2.yr.8 months that Ive been a legend. On the 8th hole,St. anns

With a 18 19 + tail wind.I used my 6 iron(175 club).no spin.It would be at or just past the pin..Now with the new one.It comes up for yards or so short of the hole, every time.

So I guess the want me to by the better ball....smart move
