Hi guys.  I am level 80 and am using MAX control putter (Amateur)  That is level 46.  I'd like to get a new putter but no clue which one to get.  Little help please.  So many in the pro shop.  Thanks!!

If you like the Max control putter maybe the master Max control. it has the same scales as the one you have  so you don't need to learn a new scale. But it has better precision and better balance.

I'd suggest the Rossa or the Versa. But they're all good once you get used to them.

Thanks all!!!  But 1 prob I have here is reading the greens.  .I've watched to "How to putt" vid & no help.  Funny thought that all greens have a left or right break to them.........Even in real life I DO get a straight putt sometimes.

i'd just get the master version of your putter, or at least try it out.

I'm using the max amateur also, and it's terribly innaccurate. especially with the 10ft

all the advice you'll get here comes from different people,
    with different capabilities and preferences.

since the putter is the club that actually wins you those birds,
what I'd suggest is that you either rent some 3-4 of the top line putters,
or (less fun option), wait for a free rent weekend, which can
happen anytime, but with the season coming to an end,
I'd say it might take longer than you'd want.

the thing is, you need to know what works for you,
and to do that, you need to try out a few of these putters.

good luck with whatever you end up choosing.

Is that the same with the Master version? I am close to Master tier and might buy it. But if its better to wait till the level 70 Versa, i will just wait. I am using the level 33 Versa and think its better than the Amateur putter

    When reading the greens:-

Use chip/pitch view, and front and reverse view that way you'll notice you can move the grid around the green giving a truer read of the break(s)

    Hope it helps

    *edit* Go to the forums---------------------------------->

Look up game tips and find Nivlac or Stonecold Killers putting guide, lt will give a more indepth insight into putting!!
