chrisironsbones: Obviously WGT have the tools to build an avatar and wouldn't really take that long.
I'll only believe this when I see one. This offer is too obviously a "you don't wanna buy me" item, just like the Maserati was. The latter had an absurdly high credit value (7 Mio?) which the keenest gamers here would not be able to achieve in the presumed lifetime of this site.
The former is presented so half-hearted and unmeaningly that nobody would buy it having the credits. It says "choice of hair" - you can't even tell if a cap would be possible!
chrisironsbones: $5000 sounds ridiculous don't you think?? Why doesn't WGT acknowledge that no one will pay that much and bring the price down to some thing players might actually buy.
It would be nuts to pay a fortune of bucks for a bunch of pixels (licence only), alas it's not money but credits. It aims at the keenest of keenest who don't know what to do with their excess credits, but since they don't wanna sell it why demand less?
chrisironsbones: I also had a nice chuckle at the price of the golf channel balls,
$1.25 for balls similar to the 10c wgt balls..LOL....WGT does have
BALLS!
This is nice marketing, I didn't even notice it. Golf Channel, what is Golf Channel for? asks a European :)
