Is it me or do the level 59 ping irons give up a ton of yardage on miss hits?  My other irons did not seem to give up as much yardage on miss hits as the ping's do.

When using the starter ball , you will lose yardage . Try the srixon 11+ ball , they only cost 180 credits a sleeve . But you really do need to get a better ball . Happy Swinging :-)

The starter balls are fine, nothing wrong with them at all. Only thing the starter ball gives up is distance off the tee and spin. What i am talking about is the yardage loss of 2 different sets of clubs.                                                                                                                     The R 11's I could miss the ding but still be closer to my yardage, just left or right of the hole. But with the Ping's I notice a good size loss in yardage sometimes besides being left or right of the hole on a missed ding.

The R11's had much more forgiveness....is why.

Yeah but you would think the extra dot of precision would offset that and give me a little more consistent yardage. More practice i guess :-)

No, precision just means it goes where you aim it (that's the theory anyway)

The Gs are great clubs tho, last you to Legend or Bladz, whichever comes 1st.

Yup, me, you and 99% of other members  ;-))

When comparing these clubs, don't forget the time warp:

    lvl 31 @11.515 XPs, lvl 59 @ 88.515

Just a jump to the left...

Thanks for your help guys, gonna try to get the yardages dialed in a little better with these Ping's. Why do you say Blades? Are they the cats meow for this game even with the clubs that follow those?

you wont compete in the upper tiers without the Bladez or L90 R11s

Oh, i dont care about that. I just want to enjoy the game and get better at it. I just was looking for a little more consistent yardage on miss hits. Maybe the level 83 Ping's will be a little more consistent on miss hits with the extra half dots of precision and forgiveness.
