It went no further left than what can be expected on that hole. The ball almost always drifts left on this hole. And that shot drifted just about how all shots on that hole drift. Hitting the ding does not mean perfect just that you should get a good shot. And that shot  though not perfect was a good shot, well within the circle of precision.

See this test of the precision of dinged 3W shots I published a few days ago.

There are random deviations built in to each club which causes even a dinged shot to not go exactly where it is aimed.

That was a pretty bad miss for a dinged shot and no wind ...I would be shocked too. If that's within the circle of precision for a dinged  3 wood shot, then the circle of precision needs to be tightened up a little in my opinion.

I find Don that depends on the hole. Some hole are well known for this type of shot to happen.

This hole i normally play for wind and still miss ding opposite side of wind. Then some holes like the one on RSG's, forget which #, but its the one that is like 240 yds or something. I have aimed almost off the screen, lol....ding shot and ball reacts like didn't move aiming marker at all. Ball starts straight at flag right off the club....and then moves with the wind.

??? Can't be explained. When that happens try to make putt and move on...lol.

Edit:  My average distance to pin is 11 feet. With that said i don't play HIO challenges, hehe.

With the precision of the top clubs...a HIO is pure luck anyway.

3 and 8 on Bethpage seem to have their own rules. Usually one or the other messes up my round there.

well within the circle of precision.

This is why I stay away from the HIO challenges. The circle of precision of the R11's is larger than even the ten foot target area, so it does truly does come down to luck even on a dinged shot with no wind.

    Gimme a 5 dollar yo ....

Lol .... I've hit that #11 more times than I've been within the 5 foot circle anytime I've tried the HIO challenges.
