background pictures

  Anyone got any ideas or advice on how to remove the background pictures that have appeared since this mornings update?

  l use Maxthon 3!!

  I know (everyone must do by now, hehe) that Courteney uses Manxthon and I believe she might use Adblock too so perhaps she can shed some light on whether it is possible to block the forum background images with either Maxthons own adhunter or Adblock.

  These background pictures are lovely. I find them very relaxing. A nice addition.

  we'll l've got 2" either side and an inch at the top, the rest is the main game client screen!!

  You know just as well as I do Jim that everything in a browser takes time to load up and in my case, I don't have the fastest connection in the world, so if I can cut out the crap that I'm not bothered about looking at, then so much the better.

  Even with the new background images the forums load quite fast on my machine. And my machine due to a crash of my new Windows 8 PC is a very old Vista machine.

  I'm on an even slower Windows XP machine with only 960 MB of RAM and the load is instant. We're talking one HD picture here, for crying out load. Maybe the ad image placeholders would be better? I don't think so.
