does anybody know the record for the most number of extra holes in a matchplay?
me and a friend in my cc just had a matchplay match that went to the 12th extra hole
12 is very common I don't know the record or if there is such a stat but I've gone 15 a few times
Wow, I don't know the answer but that is a lot. In alternate shot I think I went to the the third or fourth hole, but the 12th is unbelievable.
i think you misunderstood Dave this was 12 extra holes,30 in total for an 18 hole match not 12 in total
One of our guys in the cc went 22 extra holes !! cant remember who it was.But it was a 9 hole match.
I, Mushy , fmagnets and buggyyy where on the 9 th ex hole before on Oak, didn't seem like ending anytime soon ( we just warming up :-] )

Another gentleman and I have had a game that went to 25 holes. It was brutal to continue concentrating for such a long time. The game went on for more than 2hrs.
